We were greeted by an overzealous friendly receptionist. - within no time you could be friends with her if you wanted to. ;) she made sure we were settled in well. the hotel is very classic and serves it's purpose. The breakfast was also fine.

Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough. There is a nice pedestrianised area along a canal with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a park and also a large lake close by. We felt that if you are looking for a quiet couple of days away it would be ok. We had a fantastic dinner in the pedestrianised area at Restaurant MediTerra, and had fish of the day, whole grilled seabass, it was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.
The location of the hotel was amazing. Free parking on premise was also a big plus. Our room had a great view of the Rathaus and the centre was just a minute walk away.

The hotel is very well located, just across the street from the train station and within a short walk of the central canal in Papenburg. There's a large (for an old city) parking space for customers. I had a quiet room overlooking the garden. Everything was fine and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good with a good amount of choice. All in all, a good stay.

Modern hotel in Papenburg. Central location with a great menu and buffet breakfast was superb. We arrive late after the kitchen had closed, but they were still able to provide dinner for us.
Was there on a bike trip. They had good storage for bikes, everything was clean, easy walking to the downtown district. Overall the stay at Kedi and Papenburg in general was great.
