Kempten was so amazing. My partner and I could've spent weeks doing different hikes and exploration around the place. We definitely recommend having a car to drive to the mountains. There was also a spa about 30 minutes from the place we stayed which was incredible. We would recommend at least a week!

We loved Kempten.
We loved Kempten. We were in town for a Professional American Football game. The Allgau Comets. The stadium is close enough to walk. The town is very friendly. There was an open air market in the square. Some places do not take American credit cards. Some do not take cash. Ask! The apartment was perfect. Although, our family is tall so the sloped ceilings caused some bruising. The clothes washer was very handy and soap was provided for three loads. It was super clean, well appointed, quiet, and close to everything. Parking was easy. Self-check-in was easy. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

I was visiting friends who live nearby. We ate at several restaurants in town. Kempten is a picturesque city with lovely old buildings, parks, flowers, and winding streets. The hotel is in the center, and very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions.

Kempten is a wonderful city.
Kempten is a wonderful city. It is situated in the beautiful region of the Allgau.
Very easy to go around, with great Restaurants, good shops, historic places and most important, friendly people.
Kempten is also central to nice villages and amazing lakes and mountains this region can offer. Fussen, Oberstdor, Immenstadt, etc... are just 30/45 minutes drive from Kempten.
It is a must visiting this place ... Paradise on earth.

Kempten is a quite large city and situated in the beautiful Allgäu region in Southern Bavaria, a region that is well worth a visit. Also Lake Constanz (Bodensee) with Austria and Switzerland is not that far away.
Somewhat strange is that citybusses stop a bit early. The last one from the station to town centre at about 2030 hrs. There is however a line taxi service, but a minibus should be far better. Allthough our week card was accepted in the taxi.
A very nice hotel located in the center of the town. We booked a room for four persons and it turned out to be a spacious apartment, which was a very pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, great breakfast. The town itself offers great restaurants and walking opportunities. Various day trips possible from this location.
This is a well-appointed and centrally-located hotel that combines efficiency and friendliness. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated by someone with a sense of humour. The choice and quality of the breakfast was excellent and this is an excellent hotel for an overnight stay or even longer.
automated check in was easy. They called and let us know we would need to use it since we were checking in after 8 and explained how to do it. Underground parking is super and the location is great if you are passing through or using Kempten as a home base for exploring the area.
The excellent location, beside the historical centre of Kempten. The quiet rooms even when the bar was full with local people. It is the place where you can receive warm welcome and enjoy local traditions and food. Suggest to try owner branded drink Julishka.

The rooms were like new, big beds and a spacy bathroom. It was easy to get a parking lot in the underground garage - costs 8 EUR per day. There is also a charger for electric cars in front of the hotel.
Very helpful staff concerning late check-in. Perfect location for 1-night stay (transit). Clean room. Good grill restaurant next to hotel. Simple but delicious breakfast with super friendly staff.
