Lovely city centre which is mostly modern except for the wonderful Munster. Good shopping including interesting specialist shops all in a large pedestrianised area. The Christmas Market offered interesting and quality items. Also a good choice of restaurants.
Ulm could be a good base if you also want to visit Munich and Stuttgart both of which are reachable by train.

Ulm is a pretty city, very walkable in the centre with added attractive of walls and river dividing Baviera from Baden. Lots of museums and pretty medieval like buildings. Big choice of restaurants and cafes snd shops. Visited the bread museum, interesting facts about food security etc. 1 or 2 nights would suffice to see Ulm.
The Catedral square on market day was great. Of Course the cathedral itself is beautiful.

Great small German town you would immediately love. Not too many tourist and people around, yet you don't get the feeling of village. Plenty of dining and shopping options around and nice paved streets to get lost at.
Thanks to a great concert I had the pleasure of visiting this small and charming town.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food. The room configuration was perfect for a comfortable family stay. All the beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. This hotel is very clean and conveniently located a short walking distance from many restaurants as well as the center of Ulm.

I'd booked the hotel because it was midway between locations and hadn't really expected much of Ulm - but the old town, where the hotel is, was really lovely with some beautiful waterside restaurants.

The hotel is ideal location for a short walk into the centre of Ulm and the Munster. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options to choose from (perfect, when travelling with a fussy eater).

It was a very clean room, helpful staff and excellent location on the Ulmer Munster plaza. The staff even did a few laundry items at a reasonable price. This is a very charming streamlined boutique hotel and highly recommend it.
