That was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time. Ideally located directly on the Hexenstieg, good food options, good breakfast, helpful staff.

It is a bit of a walk up the hill from the town centre but its located in a quiet and very peaceful area, not far from a bus stop (that did not run when we visited, + no information about the transport in the town in general was available online or was inaccurate).
Clean bathroom, very comfortable beds, enough furniture to pack out if you wish, nice view into the garden. Coffee and tea, cups and spoons in the hallway at all times. Theres double door between the hall and the bedroom, one of which has a large mirror – very useful for sure, but I got scared every time I opened the first door thinking theres is someone else opening the door from the other side too, haha.
Located in the quiet Harz Mountains and surrounded by woodland, this hotel offers comfortably furnished rooms with a flat-screen TV and a beautiful view of the famous Steinerne Renne Waterfall.

The views of the river and mountain side. The isolation and peace all around. The jacuzzi bath tub in the room was such a pleasant surprise. We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

Super nice place and very well situated in the Hartz.
Staff was incredibly friendly and took great care of us from the moment we walked in.
A good central base for exploring the Harz region.
A good central base for exploring the Harz region. Not a large choice of local restaurants.
The limited bus service was good and free with the guest card.
The Brocken steam railway ran close by and had a station in the village.
