I love everything about this hotel. Room, breakfast, service, vibe, location.
Nestled amid the surrounding vineyards, only 4 km away from Sion, the Hôtel des Vignes benefits from the exceptionally dry and sunny climate of the central Valais.

I'm travelling capital cities of each Swiss Canton and 2 days and a night is I think good enough to visit the city center itself. There are still more outdoor places to visit like lakes valleys mountains.
Room was great, super clean, comfy bed, great bathroom and shower. The buffet breakfast was good. Hot and cold choices including smoked salmon, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, fresh breads, pastries, good coffee etc.
I arrived after midnight so the team called me beforehand and made sure I had a code to access the hotel and my room. Great.
Nice room ! Same as in picture.

Breakfast was nice.
Easy parking.
Only about 10’ by car from Sion.
There’s a “common kitchen / seating area” but we only found out following morning before we left. That sitting area has a nice view as well as tables and board games.
The interior decoration of Moxy hotels is always a delight! The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, the room was large enough to accomodate my wife, my son and myself comfortably. Super easy check-in and check-out process, friendly and dynamic young staff. Great hotel!
Tucked away behind the park and lake, this is a real gem, especially if you wish to surf the Sion wave garden. (It’s a 5 minute walk)
The host is wonderful, the property is well-equipped, and I could not have asked for a better experience.
Efficient and friendly service, really easy to find and get in. Apartment was super clean and modern with a comfortable double bed in the master bedroom. View over Sion airport is pretty cool too.
Large, comfortable room. Elegant and well kept hotel interior. Very good evening meal and breakfast buffet satisfactory, but no warm dishes. Ample parking space and beautiful garden and scenery.

No complaints.
Overall a nice hotel, big and clean room, quiet, nice breakfast which I could take outside in the sun. Certainly a place to go back next time I need to stay in Sion!
A convenient and comfortable place to stay in Sion, with easy check-in and breakfast. The terrace with a view of the castles is great. We'll come back.
