The accommodation was exceptionally clean throughout. Easy walk to Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street. Easy shuttle booking service. It felt like a little slice of a tropical paradise. Whilst not a problem, it is useful to know that the rooms are a little smaller than typical, but it is reflected in the price.

Port Douglas is a fabulous destination for a relaxing long weekend or a longer holiday as a base for delving in to the Daintree or barrier reef. It has amazing hotel resorts, a fabulous beach and delicious restaurants.
It has a great family vibe and is such a great destination for those with young children as well as those (like us) who were after a pamper weekend - indulging in spa treatments, delicious meals and cocktails by the pool!

Quick gateway to the Daintree rain forest and Great Barrier Reef. The town is peaceful but big enough to get everything you need. There is no public transport but pay fee shuttle services. We hired a car and found that useful. People used push bike hire. There are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops. The tour options are never ending. We did a snorkelling tour to the outer reef and a day trip to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation.

I really liked the wide variety of places to dine and all within easy walking distance. Lovely walk along the beach and up to the viewing points. Very clean and in a great location for getting to other areas of interest in that part of Queensland. It’s a great location.
We were delighted with the hotel and our room. The welcome was warm, we were allowed to check in early and were offered a complimentary transfer for our travel on departure. The location is superb. Breakfast is very good. We will rebook this hotel if we return to Port Douglas.
Hotel is located just off the main road into Port Douglas, easy to find. The room was a good size and clean. Staff were friendly - didnt use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting.
The hotel was in a great location. Overpriced for what it was but it was safe, had everything you need for a stay in Port Douglas, and offered day-trips which I used.
