Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great hippy chill vibe, open mic night was new and great Spanish singers. Unique in hostels, the double private room did smell of damp, no mould though. The air conditioning was weak didn’t sleep very well in such a humid city. Our door was also very difficult to open. Also had a ceiling fan. Great location of port Douglas. Bit of a party/smoking chill vibe. Staff were really nice.

It’s in a good central location. A big hostel with some nice touches: the bar and kitchen area is great, as is the tv room and balcony. It’s great to have the gym area, but some of the equipment is so worn out it’s a little unsafe!

this is the cleanest motel like accomodation I have EVER experienced!!! having traveled a lot around the world and stayed in dingy hostels and five star resorts this place ticked all the boxes for budget accomodation for a quick stay! it was just me (mum) and my 13 month old and I felt soooooo safe the whole time and as mentioned so clean I did not have to worry about little baby hands picking up dirt and unnecessary germs!! there’s is more than enough car spaces and is not far out of town I was even able to walk with baby in tow :)

You have to consider backpacker hostels in context of the very high turnover & some people using shared facilities are unhygienic slobs. I had private room which was spartan but huge loads of storage & bed was fine bathroom not the cleanest. Overall it was very tired looking & needs some refurbishment.

Friendly staff and a great location for our stay. Room was comfortable and due to the facilities we were able to eat in for breakfast and dinner on a couple of nights, which saved some backpackers some valuable budget!

Hotel is on the main strip of restaurants and bars so great location. Beach at the end of the road. Car park is very convenient. Cheap- cheapest place to stay that wasn't a backpackers or motel.
