Coromandel Town
Each cabin is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a small refrigerator and a TV. All have private bathrooms. You can prepare a meal in the alfresco shared kitchen/dining area, which is located in the centre of the property. Linen is supplied to all units. Little comfy hut in the rain forest. The host was exceptionally nice and welcoming, even outside the regular hours.
Whitianga
Nestled amongst a lush valley, Wairua Lodge guests enjoy free continental breakfast and free in-room Wi-Fi. Guests can relax outdoors in the hot tub or enjoy the romantic treetop bathhouse.
Wairua Lodge is a 15-minute drive from Whitianga and a 30-minute drive from Hotwater Beach. Cathedral Cove is a 35-minute drive and Auckland International Airport is a 2.5 hour drive away.
Wairua Lodge is set in a wonderfully secluded spot in the rainforest, where peace and quiet is the order of the day. The hosts are very friendly, presenting us with home baked bread and supplies for our breakfasts on arrival, helpful and respectful. This is a place where you can have as much physical activity and/or relaxation activity with relaxing spa, tree top bath, swim in the swimming holes and hikes for all abilities.
You do need to bring some cooking supplies for main meals which can be prepared on the BBQ or in the resort kitchen.
Te Puru
La Casa Te Puru Lodge features panoramic views of Thames, Hauraki Gulf and the rugged Coromandel Ranges. This unique Mediterranean-style villa offers rooms with views of the ocean or the Firth of Thames. Guests enjoy free parking and free WiFi. The views are beautiful every corner. We had our breakfast outside the room to see the lovely view from the top of the hill. We arrived late due to an accident and Christine was so nice, switching on all the lights in the room for us so we can find our way to her place as the entrance is quite narrow and steep.

Everything was very good quality, the house, furniture, food hamper. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. It’s a very relaxing and private cabin. We had great sleeps and enjoyed the big bath.
Friendly staff. Nice cabins and facilities. The area is wonderfull with playground, free kayaks and free BBQ grill.

The camping ground is close (10 min stroll) to town and the cabin and all facilities were clean. The free-to-borrow spades for Hot Water Beach were a nice touch. There was a good-sized fridge-freezer and large table in cabin.

Location was quaint as was The Hobbit Cabin but warm & cosey. Conveniences were as advised, remote from the unit but certainly adequate
Really cute, funky dwelling (funky in the best sense of the word) with everything needed for a tranquil and enjoyable stay. Lovely wooden cabin, deck with all-day light and sun, comfy beds. Warm and cosy with lovely garden with lots of personal touches. Highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing location right on the beach. The general store is cheaper then in town. The cabin is a good size. We had the one that slept 6 with a separate bedroom. Had a private bathroom too. There is a big communal kitchen and BBQ and a kids park. The private wooden hot spa for hire overlooking the ocean is amazing. Free internet worked well.
