Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. I like spacious living room area, big backyard, beautiful view scenery from the balcony. Overall an amazing house.

Lovely and clean great location excellent location cabin surrounded by trees
Wonderful location - right on the river. Creel has a rustic feel but it's comfortable - but not so luxurious that a fisherman or young family wouldn't feel at home. The cabins, angled away from one another, give an impression of seclusion and look over lovely gardens. And there's a lovely little Cafe on the doorstep.
We got the chalet furthest from the lodge; very clean; hot water in shower; good water pressure in shower; wooden walls - we can see how the wood pieces are connected with no nails; furniture and art that match where we are; soft towels; parking space near our chalet; away from road and people - SO quiet; breakfast was tasty and we got to observe a rabbit and birds out the dining room window; outside wooden porch (shared with neighboring chalet) with one small table and 2 chairs; beautiful view of the mountains; sounds of nature all around

Chalet was fairly clean except for some trash on the balcony. Fairly spacious with adjacent parking spaces. Quiet at night.
The chalet was well equipped and comfortable The hot pool was lovely
The location!! We stayed in the small cabin for two and the younger family members and friends stayed in one of the larger houses with a fireplace. On site restaurant is always top class. We had dinner on the Saturday evening and the food was perfectly prepared and presented. Our table was next to the fireplace so just perfect. Long safe walks on your doorstep and lovely chatty locals.
Creel Lodge has a rustic old wooden cabin charm. It’s peaceful, clean and the location is perfect.
The breakfast was the best part of our stay at Chalet Eiger. Nina cooked to order beautiful English breakfasts and provided fruit platters, cereal and yogurts of gourmet standard. The location was leafy and quiet with pretty views of Lake Taupo, too far to walk to town for restaurants but the Chalet offers free shuttle in.
Due to the restaurant been shut we were given a free upgrade from a chalet to a villa . We enjoyed the villa very much as there was plenty of room including a fully equipped kitchen in which we could cook our own meals if we wished not to go out.
