Our room was really big, we had the Family room, if i remember it correctly... the bed was super and the private bathroom was really nice after beeing at campsides nearly the whole time we travelled through NZ. We could park our car in front of the room, which made it easier to get our stuff into the room :) thanks a lot and see you maybe again the next time we are in NZ!

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Everything!! We stayed in Shepherd Hut and it was a cute cabin with comfortable bed and Seaview. The bay was gorgeous with a stunning sunset. The facilities were clean, the operators super lovely and a little food truck that made the best burgers. The camp site is small so not over flooded with tents and people. We were so relaxed and loved every minute of our stay!

An amazing spot positioned on an absolutely georgous little beach. The cabin was spotless. Loved that there was a lovely little food truck on site that did great fish and chips/burgers. Campsite is surrounded by native bush that has tracks you can walk through. Simply a wonderful place.

Our hosts, Liz and Neville are absolutely fantastic! They were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The views are next level amazing. We even made friends with the local pair of Oyster Catcher birds who were nesting close to our cabin. I will recommend this place to my friends and family and will definitely stay again. I just can't say enough great things about this place!
