Towels and bed linen are offered in the luxury tent. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Ryan Mountain is 43 km from the luxury tent, while Wall Street Mill is 47 km from the property. The nearest airport is Palm Springs International Airport, 77 km from Family Style Star gazing Yurt.

Stargazing Yurt is certainly an extraordinary experience. For us as a family of four, the tent spacious, beds comfortable (certainly more on the soft side) and an air condition, which in summer is quite an essential. Each tent space has extras available: an outdoor shower, an outdoor toilet (compostable - adds to the special experience :-)), a fire place, table with sun roof, a gas BBQ and an ice chest for the food. The campground owner is really nice, provides explanations and helps out, where things need an extra instructions to get going.

Good location on the edge of the park and close to restaurants etc. Great views. Randi recommended the Desert Kitchen for food which was just down the road. The food and drinks were all home made and delicious.

The location and view were great. It is just a short drive away from 49 Palms trailhead and super close to grocery stores. Also, the desert surrounds the place. The landscaping has established cactus and is great!

There was no breakfast facility at this motel but the main town of 29 Palms was only 3 miles away (alongside, being very close to Joshua Tree National Park). I was also, given the option of using the communal kitchen for a small additional fee. The rooms were wonderful, cozy and clean and following, 2 nights of camping in the desert, the shower was absolutely heavenly. I would definitely recommend the high altitude Harmony Motel or, would return there for another stay in the future:-)

A great experience of staying in yurts in the middle of the desert, especially for those people who like to camp. The yurt and the area around it are equipped with everything necessary for a multi-day quality stay. The proximity of only 12 minutes drive to the Joshua tree national park gives this accommodation an added value. For every recommendation!

Amazing retreat amidst the solitude of the desert, the desert homestead offers unparalleled tranquillity. Nestled within a breath-taking landscape, the nights here are a stargazer's delight. The interior, while modest, boasts a surprisingly comfortable bed and a good shower. Accessibility is straightforward, provided you adhere to the owner's detailed directions. A stay here is truly a respite from the hustle of daily life, providing a pure, undisturbed connection with nature.

Erin was a great host who provided us with an orientation and excellent food recommendations. The yurt has everything you need, and was truly a unique and immersive desert experience. Taking a shower outdoors just after sunset with all of the beautiful colours in the sky was an unexpected highlight of my trip.

Beautiful secluded desert location. Old picturesque trailer with a lot of charm. Super comfy bed and sofa. It was really cosy once I turned the heating on. Plenty of spots to hang outside and watch the sunrise / sunset. The old cars, boats and assorted sculptures were nice. Patricia was very helpful. Superb wifi, surprisingly!
