For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
I loved my queen sky room! I was on the 20 something floor with a fantastic view and I could see the Empire State Building from my bed! The rooftop was accessible but off season nothing open, but this made for perfect sunsets (when it wasn’t raining) and almost 360 views of Manhattan ! Magical. The room was bigger than I expected and perfect for one person, there was room for my luggage, and I think would be reasonable for two people. The bed was very comfortable.
Excellent location and value for money. Shared batnrooms were clean, always available and nice hot shower. Loved the lights in the room that showed us when each of the 4 batnrooms were occupied. The bunk beds were very comfortable and the heating was nice and warm. The property is like a modern, trendy hostel and has a bar with craft beers and food next door, great vibe.
Everything, it’s small but that’s what’s expected in NY. We made do with the space as we were hardly home anyways but the view from our room was amazing. The sunset was to die for. Close to a lot of eateries and more. The staff were the best part, so friendly, everyone is always smiling, 10/10 service. Michael checked us in and he was so efficient, he was so so lovely as they all were so thank you Michael for your lovely service :).
Comfortable bed; powerful, hot shower; make up remover wipes; exceptionally clean room; delicious cocktails and good service at the bar; efficient lift system; the rooms were themed in an industrial style and quite well executed if you like this sort of thing...its down to personal preference, but it isn't luxurious, however, we wanted good value for money and there's the compromise. Good DJ in the bar on Saturday evening.
We were a little apprehensive due to recent reviews however were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and our room was large, newly refurbished and comfortable. The bed was a super king, bathroom a wet-room style with a powerful hot shower. The main foyer has been updated and is bright, fresh and welcoming
Hotel in a great location for seeing Broadway shows and a central base to travel around the city. Good room - it was small, but enough space for me for a weekend. Comfortable bed, good hot shower. Very friendly and helpful concierge team who helped me a number of times during my stay.
Absolutely loved the smart space saving, industrial-scandinavian design of the room which also included a really nice private hot shower. I personally love no carpet floors on hotels as it feels more hygienic and hypoallergenic. The hotel also provided free wifi, 24h reception, gym, restaurant and a bar. The price/quality you get is very affordable when compared with hotels closer to the main attractions. There's a really cool Dominican/NY vibe not very often seen which added a lot of character to the hotel.
