Private room seemed unnecessary until the weekend when Crashpod filled up. Bus 2 to Palm Springs. Friday night the hostel filled the refrigerator with food for guests. Nearby store. Security was tight. I.appreciated Crashpod's authenticity of place in the desert, and not just staying in the center of town. Not having to make a choice,, the chance to stay at Crashpod seemed uniquely awesome.
It was in a good location in a quiet area and near restaurants. The sun beds were very good and there were four poster beds too. The bed in the room was very comfortable.
This was a gorgeous oasis in the desert. A beautiful escape with beautiful property pool and gardens. Very helpful attentive staff. Lovely pool facilities. Has a supermarket in walking distance and can easily get Uber to restaurants etc (short distances).

The room boasted completeness and comfort, with a spa-like shower that enhanced the overall experience and a super comfortable bed. The attentive staff, complimentary bikes for exploring, and a lovely breakfast rounded out the exceptional experience. We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Desert Riviera Hotel.
A quiet calm oasis with a lovely retro feel. Lying on the sun beds was so relaxing, every view was a delight. The whole place was kept immaculate, everyone who worked there was helpful and pleasant. A great place to switch off from the outside world. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!
The hotel is in a great location in Palm Springs.
It's old school and the effort and friendliness of staff was outstanding. Every evening candles were lit around the courtyard. Music carefully chosen and staff working away planting things and making it all look good. The pool was lovely to have and there is constant access to a little kitchen. From one side of the pool you could see the desert mountains. We really enjoyed our stay... the perfect choice!
- The room was amazing: it was big, beautifully designed and had all sorts of nice touches (hammock, bathrobes, American fridge).
- The location is ideal to walk around in Palm Springs.
- Parking at the hotel is available.
- The pool and the pool setting are perfectly perfect.
- The food and drinks were lovely.
- Last but not least, the staff were incredibly welcoming, efficient and helpful!

Wonderful location for a relaxing desert day. Beautiful mountain views from the pool. Nice bar. Laid-back atmosphere. Everything feels a little outdated but in a very charming way. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.
Really cool and stylish, we felt like 50s movie stars! So peaceful with retro music creating a real atmosphere. At sunset the view of the mountains and palm trees, with the smell of the hot desert in the air was actually quite magical.
