Host was great, location was great, breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Pub food over the road or not too far away for other facilities. No crowds and overall a great base for getting around with ample parking. Recommended

Fabulous and safe for our 2 granddogs
Great choice of bedrooms
Absolutely, everything needed in the kitchen was there
Lots of condiments, kitchen roll etc was there
Loved the bottles of dish cleaner, shampoos, etc. Very stylish.

Good location, very clean, we don't have a pet so it was good not to see any traces of anyone else's! Cosy little place for a short break.

Location is great, very scenic and not far from hiking spots.

We love visiting the Crown Inn, and look forward to visiting again in the future. We were very lucky to have been upgraded to a larger room for our over night stay. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon.

Very good choice for breakfast, just for me bacon, sausages, black pudding underdone. Coffee superb. Great choice of seating areas.
Had the advantage of good weather so could sit outside most of the time. Went with my sister who has to walk with a stick but she managed the stairs to our room on the 1st floor.

Excellent host and breakfast, ideal location for Ullswater and Keswick, Blencathra and Helvellyn. The Troutbeck Inn is just across the road so very convenient for a meal and a pint.
Suruchi was very helpful, the food was fabulous, the room very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and parking no problem. The shower was warm and powerful. Great veggie and vegan options.
Ideal and beautiful location in the Lake District. Amazing cooked breakfast available from 7.30am which meant I was able to make the most of the day. Parking available on site. Single en-suite room was quiet and comfortable and met my needs. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others and would book again if I was in the area.
This was such good value, lovely people, great food, spotless room and an ideal location for getting to the fells and also into Keswick for a mooch.
Will definitely be back. That breakfast view!!
