Jim is a superb host. He is friendly yet organised and runs a tight ship. Exactly what we needed as it takes all the stress away. The day before pre-order system for breakfast made our mornings much more relaxed which with two older kids was valuable to us. Jim was also very accomodating helping us with anything we needed, be it an extra heater or fresh towels - and we loved the daily muffins. The food here is incredible, both the range of choice and the quality, all freshly made too. Rooms are spacious, clean and have real charm. We couldn't have hoped for a more pleasant 4 night stay and our two children thoroughly enjoyed their first ever B&B experience in their two floor 'suite'. We have had to warn them though that this is probably the best they will ever stay in, downhill from here. We hope to be back next year.

View from the room was wonderful. Peaceful and quiet. Reception staff were super helpful and chatty, sharing info on facilities and local area. Items made available in accommodation such as dishwasher tablets, cloth, tea towel etc were very much appreciated. Great location if you can drive as lots nearby within a short drive.

Dean greeted us when we arrived and made us a cup of tea while we put our things in our room. He then talked us through everything (times for breakfast etc.) then gave us some great local advice to help with our plans for the weekend. The room was clean and well set up, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was great (eggs were cooked perfectly). Tie this in with Dean's friendly hospitality, the great location and the stunning views and all in all you have a fantastic place to stay!

Dean was a great host from the moment we arrived. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was superb every morning, really flexible with timings for brekkie, his knowledge of the area was great, he even drew us a map for our walking trip. The room was a good size, comfortable bed and a really quiet location. Free parking outside. We even got to use the hot tub, which was a right bonus after a day walking around the lakes. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this b and b, will definitely return in the future.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. There was great peace and quiet in the area. Although the two dinners that we had in the restaurant were enjoyable there was a limited choice on the menu.
