Welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. So enjoy staying in a historic building. Rooms were clean and comfy. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Wonderful filling breakfast -thanks Keith. Our stay was absolutely perfect. Keith, the owner, was on hand to greet us when we arrived and recommended several places to eat in the village. The room was amazing, and this is how a B&B should be - plenty of choice of hot drinks in room, homemade biscuits, and cold water. The milk bottle available in the cool box on top of the stair was ideal. The bed was so comfortable, and a nice touch of bath robes available for us. The breakfast was cooked fresh to your time with fresh local produce and fresh eggs.

A well appointed room with all the amenities you'd expect with a very comfortable bed, located in a quiet village with the countryside for background noises. Dinner from the bar was tasty, well priced and very generous and breakfast was a delicious morning treat. Super helpful and friendly staff. Overall a great stay for the price and less than 20 minutes from Durham.
