We enjoyed a walk on a nearby walking path. Several restaurants nearby but do be aware that several are closed on Sunday evenings.

Absolutely amazing Loved every minute of our stay for Christmas. Jane made us feel so welcome with her thoughtful Christmas touches with welcoming mulled wine, procescco and marshmallows.The place was amazing and has everything you need for a stay. So unique, clean and cleverly equipped.Such a homely feel. Loved the colour changing lights for the pod!. We had pizza and the marshmallows on the outdoor fire stove for Xmas Dinner which is such a nice feature. Lots of Christmas songs were sang along with in the hotub with the speaker. The scenery is also gorgeous with the wildlife pond and horses. Highly recommend a stay to anyone and will 100% be back !

The Royal Oak doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but don't be fooled by that - the room we had was large, clean and comfortable with lovely views over open fields. It was one of the best places we stayed during our six-week tour, and we would have liked to have had more than one night there. The beds and pillows were just right, and it was quiet overnight so we got a good night's sleep. We had a very good evening meal and breakfast in the pub. The landlady was friendly and helpful, and even got two burly lads at the bar to take our suitcases upstairs for us!
