Excellent location and the view was very good. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Our unit had two interconnected rooms.

It was definitely only very simple as described but you weren’t even able to drink water from the taps and besides going to the bar during ‘business hours’ had no other options, even a communal area to make a cup of tea would have been amazing. Doors all need a good hit of WD40! We stayed on a Sat night and I loved listening to the live music in the bar and it was great it stopped at 10.30pm.

It has fantastic views. We even got to see a wild koala outside our window ! The staff is friendly and accommodating and they have a good restaurant . Breakfast was provided and it was exactly what we needed .

Apollo Bay in the middle of Autumn is quite sleepy.
Apollo Bay in the middle of Autumn is quite sleepy. No need to book at restaurants :) and plenty of picnic spaces. The coffee shops are open and so is the distillery, which makes excellent Gin and has Happy Hour from 16:30 to 17:30.

I loved the hidden beach behind the town.
I loved the hidden beach behind the town. Its a drive away from the 12 apostles, waterfalls etc, but its still a great place to stay and look around for a bit. It was super calm and quiet but there were also streets full of people and cafees.

The beach walk is excellent and you can watch, or join in...
The beach walk is excellent and you can watch, or join in with, the surfers. There is also a very nice golf course near the marina.
If you want yo bbq there are plenty of places to just set up and go with the bbq’s ready to go.
The shops are good and the restaurants are very nice.
The town is also home to the Southern most pub in Sustralia, where you can get a very nice meal.

The location is good and close to the beach. However, the facilities lack maintenance and rooms have broken furnitures ( pictures annexed) our toilet had a large spider net in the window (inside).
Nobody showed up despite through booking email confirmation.

Beautiful beaches - be sure to walk along Marengo beach. Day trippers make lunchtime busy in town. Great fish & chips, oysters, scallops & crayfish at harbour (10% surcharge on weekends!). Good fresh fish and yummy seafood starters at fish shop. Good Italian.
Cute little motel situated above the Chinese Restaurant in the main street of Apollo Bay. Nice, spacious car park at the back of the motel which was easily accessible and a little laneway to access the main street. Everything was in walking distance from our motel.
We checked in after hours, but were given very clear information on how to access our room prior to our arrival. The room and bathroom were both clean and recently refurbished. Bed was also comfortable and warm (for a winters weekend away). Would definitely stay here again
We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Sea Change Guesthouse during our time at Apollo Bay. Thank you Robyn for your hospitality and adding small thoughtful touches around the house to make us feel more at home.
Location was also great and convenient with many food options and beach access nearby.
Our favourite place around the house was the beautiful garden (great for strolls), where we also spotted the residential Kuala.
We got an ocean-facing room and managed to catch a spectacular sunrise over the ocean. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Cutlery and utensils were provided so you can grab a takeaway from the nearby Apollo Bay Fisherman's Co-op and eat in the room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Paintings and art in the motel were beautiful and added an artistic touch.
My unit was very clean, and well maintained. Heating was adequate. Chris was very friendly. Allocated parking was very close to my unit.
The motel is 2 blocks from the beach. Very well located and quiet. It is an easy walk to restaurants and the excellent Apollo Bay Hotel. The price was very reasonable (in Friday, depart Sunday).
I would definitely stay at Beachcomber motel again.
The motel is conveniently located near the CBD for shops and restaurants. A supermarket and the beach are 2 min walk. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Room has ample bench space and a kitchenette. The host was friendly and welcoming and told us about Apollo Bay and what it offers. Parking is undercover. Will be more than happy to stay again 😊
Very clean and comfortable house, great little contained backyard for our spoodle dog. About a 30 minute walk along the beach to the cafes and shops of Apollo Bay. Well equipped kitchen, living area upstairs with balcony, BBQ and view. The agent was very easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.
we booked the hotel just two hours before the arrival and did not expect much. But our expectations were exceeded - the staff was amazing, the location was superb and the room was very comfortable with all we needed. As the bonus - the shop is just across the street.
The hotel is located near Apollo Bay in a peaceful setting, facing the ocean, allowing us to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. Additionally, there are alpacas next to the property, which delighted my little girl. We were even able to feed the alpacas

Nice spacious cabin with a view and sounds of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay here very much as it was a convenient location for exploring the Great Ocean Road and near enough to Apollo Bay town Centre for restaurants.
Large place. Very convenciently located in Apollo bay for both local activities and for exploring the Great Ocean Road in general. Very clean and tidy. Laundry facilities were a treat. Aircon worked very well.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the town center. Check-in was smooth and fast. Room was clean and spacious, has all the facilities that we needed. Will stay again if we come back.
