Situated just one street away from the Great Ocean Road, this environmentally-friendly hostel features a rooftop terrace, 2 self-catering communal kitchens, BBQ facilities and an organic herb garden.

The view inside hotel space is good.
Rooms are near to the beach and we are able to see sea. However most of rooms are at lower place and the view aren't great as in some of the photos.

I loved the hidden beach behind the town.
I loved the hidden beach behind the town. Its a drive away from the 12 apostles, waterfalls etc, but its still a great place to stay and look around for a bit. It was super calm and quiet but there were also streets full of people and cafees.

The beach walk is excellent and you can watch, or join in...
The beach walk is excellent and you can watch, or join in with, the surfers. There is also a very nice golf course near the marina.
If you want yo bbq there are plenty of places to just set up and go with the bbq’s ready to go.
The shops are good and the restaurants are very nice.
The town is also home to the Southern most pub in Sustralia, where you can get a very nice meal.

Went in mid Feb and it wasn’t too busy which was great. Can get cold and windy so bring some warm clothes! Lovely beach and relaxed town. Chris’s Restaurant was fantastic as a fine dining option and just a short drive away.

The location is good and close to the beach. However, the facilities lack maintenance and rooms have broken furnitures ( pictures annexed) our toilet had a large spider net in the window (inside).
Nobody showed up despite through booking email confirmation.

Beautiful beaches - be sure to walk along Marengo beach. Day trippers make lunchtime busy in town. Great fish & chips, oysters, scallops & crayfish at harbour (10% surcharge on weekends!). Good fresh fish and yummy seafood starters at fish shop. Good Italian.

Beach and Rain forest surprises. Good restaurants (Casalinga) for dine in or pizza. (Georges also did good pizza) Bakery gets busy esp Sundays - I know bc we went every day for 3 days. Took picnic rolls from there to Redwoods. Fishermans Co-op was too busy, but good place to walk around AB Harbour. AB Hotel (near bakery) ok meal, helpful staff, free music great Saturday night. Very casual in AB. Great views from Marriners Look out, easy walk for everyone- except dogs. Did not realize there were so many walks (NOT Hikes) possible if not much beach weather. We will come back to complete those walks & views we did not get to.
An amazing apartment with breathtaking views, we stayed in the room 11 which has a huge corner balcony and big living/dining. We were coming after 7 pm and received a call checking if we make it to 8 pm, or we need keys to be left, which was nice. The cot was provided at no additional cost and the beds were comfy and clean. Spa in the bedroom is a nice bonus (although we did not use it).
We loved our stay there and will be coming back next time we are staying in Apollo Bay.
The kitchen, lounge and bathroom facilities were all great, nicely sanitised and the bathroom in particular looked like it had been freshly renovated. The motel was also conveniently situated right in the heart of Apollo Bay across the road from a good Italian restaurant. The receptionist was helpful in providing local area information. I imagine it would be a great place to stay in summer.
The motel is conveniently located near the CBD for shops and restaurants. A supermarket and the beach are 2 min walk. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Room has ample bench space and a kitchenette. The host was friendly and welcoming and told us about Apollo Bay and what it offers. Parking is undercover. Will be more than happy to stay again 😊
The accommodation has a very good location in Apollo Bay. Quietly situated but still very central. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was renovated and well equipped. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful with some great tips for Apollo Bay. Just remember, it's not a 5 star luxury hotel, but everything is immaculate and very clean!
We stayed at the Apollo Bay Waterfront motel for two nights whilst touring the great ocean road. The room was clean, beds comfortable with basic necessities provided. It’s located walking distance to everything. The front staff member was lovely and helpful. Apollo bay is so small so you don’t need anything more than this place. would recommend!
A lovely, well kept property with pretty much everything you need and lots of natural light. Beautifully presented with fabulous view of the beach from the bedroom. A short walk to the beach and short drive to the shops at Apollo Bay. Several units in the group. Very quiet and peaceful. I’ll definitely be back.
Apartment was clean and spacious with a lot of room for a family of 4. Free parking available. Location only a short distance from town. Instructions to check in and out of apartment was timely and easy to follow. One of the cheaper options in the Apollo Bay area.
We were impressed by the quality of linen and towels. The couple running the motel were super kind and helpful. Location is perfect. Right across from the park/ beach and close to restaurants but still quiet. Don’t miss the sunsets!

We had the penthouse apartment & the View was amazing, it was clean, spacious and great decor. Close to centre of Apollo Bay easy walk to everything in town.
Breakfast was amazing! Such a good deal when coupled with the motel room. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was easy and contactless.
