Rooms were spacious and quiet and comfortable. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, so much choice! Although there were lots of events, you couldn't hear them from the rooms.

The property was nice, the garden is pretty, the location just outside of Oxford was nicer than staying central Oxford.
The room was clean and there was a nice selection of teas and coffees and bottled water in the room. We didn’t use the TV.
The shower took a bit of time for the hot water to come through but not a problem.
The continental breakfast was a coffee, tea, fruit juices, a selection of meats and cheeses, cereals, fruit, yogurts and toast and the breakfast staff offered fresh cooked eggs, boiled, fried or scrambled. Which was a nice surprise.
Some nice pubs and restaurants within 5 minute walk especially good was a Lebanese restaurant called Beruit. A patrol station and a boots etc nearby.
Just as a note, which we didn’t know about was that Uber don’t have an operating license in Oxford so I had to download the 001 taxis app to get taxis too and from Oxford town.

The carpark was a little muddy but hardly surprising due to the amount of rain we'd had that day.

We didn't get too see much as we were attending a wedding. However driving round was very picturesque. It would be a perfect place for a short break if you enjoy the country side, long walks and good country pubs with good food and drink
