After a very long drive it was restful peaceful. My room had lovely views over the marshes.
Everything you wanted was in the room.
The evening meal was excellent and the bar stocked decent beers (XXXB).

Lovely and peaceful, comfortable bedroom and living room (in cottage suite), excellent breakfast, thoughtful hosts - fridge, microwave, fresh milk, crockery all provided. Plenty of hot water, good shower. No issues with WiFi.
Very good value for money.
Felt very safe and looked after, as female travelling alone.

Set in a Grade II listed building dating back to the 18th century, Thornton Hunt Inn is a traditional free-house located in the charming village of Thornton Curtis.
The B&B was located in the lovely village of Ulceby. The well proportioned room was clean with TV, tea, coffee a mini fridge and WiFi. The bathroom was the same size as the room with walk-in shower that you could fit three people in. Avril was lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Exceptional value for a one night stay.
Can’t recommend ulceby lodge enough. Avril abs John are just fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, they went over and above to ensure we felt welcomed and were happy and comfortable. Beds were fantastic, breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
