Breakfast ok and location very good but no bar open or cooked food… noisy drilling before 8am both mornings due to workmen on site .
Changed room after first night as bed and pillows too hard.

Great pub up the road-The Dambusters that was full of interesting facts and items belonging to the R.A.F. Good meals served there. Try the fish and chips. The fish is so big it hangs over the side of the plate!!!!
Have a look around the church for more records of the war and the local heroes.
If you are going into Lincoln it is an easy run from Scampton.
In all, it was a wonderful stay at the cottage.
