The owners were respectful of our privacy, but on hand if we needed them snd were very friendly. The location is perfect - just 5 minutes drive from restaurants, pubs & supermarkets.

This is a very well run hotel. I was very impressed, good numbers of staff. Breakfast was very slick. I imagine it would be busier if there was a wedding or two overnighting. All staff very pleasant and helpful.
Liked the two double beds. Better than a camp bed for not so small child.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially on Reception. Did not use pool or gym so cannot comment. Refurbishments were taking place. Evening meal was lovely but service a bit slow as we believe there was a party going on in another room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice (although there was no plain yoghurt on our second morning).
The George Hotel is located 12 minutes walk from Norwich City centre, where guests can visit all the city's main attractions such as the Castle, Cathedral and Chapelfield shopping centre.

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and the hotel and room were spotlessly clean, providing excellent facilities during our two-night stay. The hotel generously allowed us to use their car park before and after check-in, saving us the trouble of finding alternative parking in town. Although we didn't dine at the hotel, the facilities looked outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly rebook if I return to Norwich.
Consisting of 3 Grade II listed Georgian buildings, and 2 coach houses, the hotel is situated in a pretty tree lined conservation area only a short stroll from the city centre.

We had a lovely overnight stay in this very traditional inn whilst visiting a friend who had recently moved to Eaton. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed a delicous evening meal from a very varied menu featuring local produce. Although perhaps I shouldn't have, I succumbed to the dessert menu too which meant that I was so full I had to miss breakfast which was a shame.
