The Old Manor House Hotel, hotel in Priston

Dating back to 1609, this charming manor is believed to be the oldest dwelling house in Keynsham Village. It retains period features like oak beams, and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

The Room was Quirky, we stayed in the Tower suite, it had a roll top Bath. I would not recommend this room to anyone who struggles which stairs, the clue is in the name, The Tower Suite, you have to climb the windy steps.

Stayed on a farm up high for 3 nights, overlooking Priston, which is a small, quiet village nestled in a valley and accessed by narrow lanes. Mostly made up of lovely houses with just one pub, The Ring O'Bells,, (which we did not go in as it was closed due to COVID) a village hall, church & old mill (again did not visit), it is nice to drive through, but nothing much to see as mainly residential with no shops. It is, however, surrounded by beautiful scenery with rolling hills & valleys, which makes it a very pretty area. Just a tip though, always got lost when coming back from days out, as they are narrow lanes with little signage or names.
