The bedroom was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It was quiet and we weren’t disturbed.
Residents car parking was very secure as locked overnight.
The food is really good and reasonably priced given the quality.
Would definitely return when in the area next time.

DIY breakfast in the kitchen. They provided with Bread and jam etc. You can also bring your groceries to cook in the kitchen. Hot tub outside is the best of all. Lake view is awesome. Will come back with more friends.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring central Bristol. The carpark is a real bonus, especially as there are electric car chargers. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. There are also a number of cafes nearby for breakfast.

Breakfast was ok, not amazing. Coffe was very average.
Bed was quite hard!
Lovely accommodation, very pretty frontage. Lots of parking space and access. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. We needed to leave early on last day before breakfast time. They opened early for us, still offering full service.
It was beautifully presented and very very clean.

Tiny rural place but such a lovely location and so...
Tiny rural place but such a lovely location and so convenient for Bath, Bristol and the seaside (Weston-Super-Mare etc). Nice quiet roads around the area, the Carpenter's Arms pub itself was lovely to come back to after a day out. Could have stayed longer than 4 nights. We ate in their own restaurant every night, the menu was varied and food good quality so we did not have to look further afield. Would not avoid anywhere in the local area to be honest. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and a welcome change from a few days earlier in the Cotswolds.

The rooms were comfy and quiet.
The rooms were comfy and quiet. Breakfast was amazing and we loved the private access to the spa! We arrived on Sunday and enjoyed a carvery at the local Toby. We spent the day in Bath on the Monday and visited Lacock as well during our stay.
The location is great. As they had no cook who needed to quarantine, we walked to the pub "The rising sun" in the Pensford (25 min) for the dinner, it was nice. But the pictures of the food at The Carpenters Arms look great and should be really tasty. I think we will once come back and bring the mountain bikes, now that we know that the parking is secured during the night.
Staff is really friendly. I strongly recommend this place!
This is a fantastic hotel in stunning surroundings. Our room was comfortable, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Staff were excellent, they were friendly, professional with a personal touch which made us feel very welcome and made our stay homely.
We had breakfast and dinner here, there was a wide selection of options on both of the menus and the meals were lovely.
We highly recommend this place.
Room was very comfortable and the shower was huge. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The choices for breakfast exceeded our expectations, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, porridge and the cooked breakfast was cooked beautifully. A secure gated carpark for hotel guests was reassuring.
Absolutely faultless.staff were excellent the room was perfect
Ambiance was great in the bar.
Food was really good especially breakfast, best I've had in a b&b.
Usually staying in a hotel or b&b something is not quite right but not at the carpenters Arms. 100% satisfied.
Unfortunately, due to Covid, the kitchen was closed. Loved the fresh milk, really appreciated the 'safe' parking for our car. Its the first hotel soap we've found with 'an oh so easy' tear open tag. Really comfortable bed.
Location was really good, we had a nice walk during afternoon through the wonderful cleaned road and greeneries. Dinner was lovely although we didn't take breakfast.
Price is very high. But the hotel is very much clean.
this was an unexpected delight. the rooms were like a boutique hotel, so well planned out and comfortable. The food was exceptional and the staff were very good.
