Contrary to what I expected as I thought it was going to be a room above the pub, it was not. It was a separate purpose built building next to the pub, the room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. We had pets and the room even came with its own small walled yard. Plenty of space for parking the car. The Landlady Daphne is very friendly and welcoming as well as all her staff, and the food at the pub was exquisite! The village is lovely surrounded by beautiful countryside fields. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely countryside right outside our window.

Lovely countryside right outside our window. We also enjoyed breakfast outside on the Sunday morning whilst listening to the birds singing. The Kings Head at Napton serves fabulous meals and a lovely ambience. The Village Store sells everything from a bottle of milk to a take away coffee and bacon baps. Napton is a pretty village with a canal running on the outskirts of it. Thank you Ruth for a lovely stay and we would love to return with more family members and enjoy staying in all three caravans on the farm, "Toad Hall", "Tadpole Retreat" and "Wind-in-the-Willows".

A lovely village literally on a hill which visitors should aim to walk to the top for the views and a Rowan Tree memorial to WWII Observer Corps posted there and from where the Coventry Blitz was seen. The Folley pub is a great place by the canal with Al Fresco dining and drinking.
