Bar was lovely, we didn't use the gym or restaurant, so cannot comment on that.

Absolutely brilliant for the money, staff are lovely
South-east of Birmingham, Coventry is best known for the shell of its old cathedral, a poignant reminder of the damage sustained during World War II. Part of its northern wall joins the new Modernist cathedral, designed by Sir Basil Spence.
In the neighbouring gardens are remains of an 11th-century Benedictine monastery set up by Lord Leofric. His wife - Lady Godiva - became Coventry’s greatest legend by riding naked on horseback in protest at her husband’s high taxes.
St Mary’s Guildhall is built on part of the old castle, and Baginton on the city’s outskirts houses the reconstructed Roman Lunt Fort. Also here is Coventry Airport, by the Midland Air Museum, whose exhibits include a Vulcan.
The Coventry Transport Museum houses examples of vehicles manufactured in the city over the years. Also historic are the canals north of the city centre, lined by Grade II-listed buildings. Other attractions include the Warwick Arts Centre – the UK’s 2nd largest – and the Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City FC. The Sky Dome Arena is an ice hockey and music venue, while the best shopping is found in Arena Park Centre.
The city has 2 universities, so naturally features many bars and restaurants. There are also several Coventry hotels, guest houses and country houses on Booking.com, most with parking and some with pools.

This is a very student oriented city - Loads of eateries, curious mix of modern and Victorian/Mediaeval architecture, but above all, a vibrant friendly city. It's not big - your feet will easily cover all the best parts to visit, though the place abounds with buses, should you need them.

Very good staff. The restaurant could have had more choice. The rooms could have had information booklet as not everyone can use the phone app Its a shame the toilet door was soiled. Could have more coffee in the room (normal coffee)

Dinner - supurb. The staff were exceptionally attentive and even gave me a private tour with historical insights. There's a lot to see in the hotel that you don't notice unless you're being taken around. Breakfast was spot on. Of note was the room quality for what I paid. Amazing Value. And the location was amazing yet so close to the city centre (Coventry).
This is a typical Britannia hotel dirty out dated and damp I never been to any of britannia hotel rhat I could so thank god they got it right it is so not worth the money they are asking you can find better and cheaper than this hotel group 2 off the worse hotel is the Norbreck and metropol in Blackpool disgusting places don't say I didn't warn you
This is a superb hotel in central Coventry that has retained a lot of the original character of the building with stylish furniture and a lot of nice touches. Rooms was bigger than expected and super clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff excellent
Couldn't be closer to the Cathedral and central Coventry. Really appreciated the amazing view of the cathedral from our room. Would readily recommend this hotel!
Friendly staff. Hotel very clean. Great location, 10 minute walk from Coventry City centre. Lovely breakfast buffet, from croissants to full English breakfast.
