Comfortable & well-appointed hotel within the airport so absolutely minimal distance to walk for our early morning flight. Restaurant and bar were perfect for a relaxing evening meal the night before, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disabled travellers need to be sure they get a room with appropriate facilities. Acknowledging a request is not good enough. The exact nature of bathroom accessibility should be clear - e.g. whether space for a wheelchair for transfer to shower seat and WC; Position of grab rails and drop-down handrails.

I booked this hotel because my sister uses a wheelchair and we were visiting crufts at the NEC therefore we wanted to be as close to it as possible. when they built the hotel they had no consideration for people in wheelchairs making the journey from the hotel to the nearby beautiful lake and on around to the NEC center.

Whilst i believe the hotel is being renovated, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy. Looked like workmen had been in there with their dirty boots. Breakfast was terrible, Did not have no choice, we were asked what we wanted. When it arrived the sausage and bacon were under cooked.
Would not stay here again.

Terrible room.
Terrible room. The shower was separate to the toilet and there was nowhere to dry yourself in the shower. Consequently my partner slipped and fell, resulting in a massive bruise. No mats provided.
I will not be returning.

Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful . Room comfortable bed. Disappointed that hand wash and shower gel were empty considering price of room .
Breakfast £18 expensive but a lot of choice .
Waited along time to check in .
The hotel is just a few hundred yards from departures and not too far from the car parks, although it is a little bit of a walk, but there is a courtesy bus if you're lucky enough to be there when it picks up in the car park. The hotel has a restaurant with a reasonable selection of meals although like all restaurants these days it is expensive. The check in process was done in a minute I couldn't believe how fast and efficient it was. Our room was clean, tidy and quiet. a
A great place to stay before our flight early in the morning.
Excellent location for the World Resorts Arena and Birmingham International Airport/train station ... ten minutes walk from the hotel rear (taxi back from WRA cost £12 around at 10.30 p.m). Great, friendly and very helpful staff. Unfortunately we weren't staying long enough to enjoy the pool, restaurant and bar. Booked a family room but only 2 guests, very spacious, well equipped, large tv and extremely clean. Can't wait to stay again for longer x
Staff lovely, quick check in, room a good size for 1 night and a family of 3.
I've stayed here many times with work so used to having the room to myself and not with a 5yr old and husband.
Right next to car park one and easy to get too.
Shower nice and hot.
Lots of power points.
Food great and surprisingly reasonably priced for an airport hotel. My husband commented we would have spent more in Frankie and Bennys.
I've stayed at Ibis Birmingham Airport several times. The staff members are friendly yet professional. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from airport departures; obviously, depending on mobility. All my flights from the airport have been very early. For that reason, this is my choice of hotel. The rooms are surprisingly silent, considering the location, pristine clean with comfortable beds.
My first impression was of the grounds of the hotel. Beautifully looked after, perfectly manicured lawns, lovely flower displays, clean gravel with no weeds and inside lived up to first impression. Spotless, light and airy. The staff in all areas, reception, restaurant, and bars were polite and helpful. They all looked happy in their work.
Location is fantastic for Birmingham airport. Loved the on-site restaurants and access to the car park, all under one roof. The reception, rooms and bathrooms were all lovely and spotless. We will definitely book the Genting Hotel again for any future visits to Birmingham airport.
Located close to Birmingham Airport and the NEC it was very convenient to go into Birmingham by car. Breakfast was good. Showers were also good in the rooms. There is parking but not free which I thought it was. Its good value for money compared to many hotels in Birmingham.
Nice Hotel in walking distance to BHX airport, nice, clean rooms, good breakfast (before 7am unfortunately only continental), nice staff, we have been there already the 3rd time and we will come back when we are in Birmingham
I like that the pub next door does amazing hot food. The hotel does a hot lovely breakfast in the morning with plenty to go around and seating. The customer service from the staff is outstanding.
the staff were friendly and helpful and facilities were good. the location is 5 minutes from Birmingham Airport
there is a very good pub and restaurant next to the hotel.
