Room was clean and tidy, breakfast basic but OK, shower and loo worked fine. Plenty of parking. It's all very basic, but it suffices and is budget friendly.

First room was in the main building but the heating was broken and so we were moved to the annexe. A good sized room and cosy even although it backed onto the road. Good breakfast. Parking is tight but okay. Great location near the centre of town.

This was in a very convenient position for visits to Bordeaux and St. Emilion. It was spacious with a nice garden and view over the vineyards.

Spotlessy clean and well equiped beach hut style room, a bit smaller than we expected though as described (so our fault) and adequate for a one night stopover. The drinks and nibbles provided were a lovely bonus, thank you. Secluded location by the river and great to relax in the modern hot tub/spa after our long journey. Our host was responsive and helpful. Handy for the shops (Our satnav took us through the Carfour carpark to get there!)

Libourne is a total delight, just do NOT stay at the Hotel de France. The river front is quite lovely and the people friendly. It's a very appealing town. Everything that you want seems to be very central.
Absolutely stunning property in Libourne. The decor throughout is beautiful and the bedrooms are very spacious with a very comfortable bed.
Corinne and Laurent are incredibly friendly hosts and regularly check that you have everything you need.
The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious with so much effort put in for the guests.
Would highly recommend a stay here if you want to visit saint emilion, which is a very easy 7 minute train ride away or 15 minutes in a taxi to many of the vineyards.
I’m very picky with hotels and usually try to stay at luxury properties. Chateau Bonalgue showed me a different side. The rooms are comfortable and very nicely appointed (actually I recommend the team to take the pictures again, as the pictures on the listing make the rooms look of inferior quality, when they are actually very nice). The peaceful atmosphere is the vineyard and our 5 year old son discovery and learning was priceless. The whole team was superb. Already missing it.
Clos Bernon is a tiny bit of heaven that borders the river in a bucolic and peaceful part of France. The view was extraordinary! Our rooms were spotless; the bathrooms were brand new. Eveline made a beautiful breakfast for us and wanted to please us in every way. This is true France; the kindest people, the most beautiful settings, and service of the highest degree. Great apartment right in the historic centre of Libourne and only about a minute's walk from the main pedestrianised shopping street. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you'd need for an extended stay, including cooking and clothes-washing facilities, and the host had kindly provided tea and coffee for me to drink. From the comfortable sofa to the large bed, a great place to relax and recharge.
This was our first visit & we wd be likely to use this hotel again. The rooms are in the process of refurbishing; ours was complete and was very attractively presented. Dining and public areas are similarly comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast; the chef was very able.
The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful; one being fluent in English, which was most helpful.
The whole experience was wonderful. From the welcome we received to the wine tasting to the beautiful room.

We went into Libourne to have a meal at Cosy Tourney which I would totally recommend too.
The flat is really excellent with a large sitting room/kitchen area (with a huge smart tv on the wall) and 3 good sized bedrooms and a very nice bathroom. The location in the middle of Libourne is also very nice with just a 7 minute walk to the station where you can get regular trains to Bordeaux.
Overall I would recommend the apartment very strongly!

I Love every small detail of this property, it’s amazing! When you stay at this hotel you have a feeling like you are the owner of the old and atmosphere chateau! The breakfast in the garden just one love! I dream to visit it again, but now with my family! And the owner is so hospitality!

A little home from home - very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a small problem with our hire car whilst staying in the property the owner was incredibly helpful and supportive - would recommend you stay here if visiting Libourne
It was very close to the railway station. We got very clear instructions on how to access the hotel and our room as we arrived after reception had closed. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable.
I had never been to Libourne and knew nothing about it but the experience with the two people who helped me check in was so good that I'll return to the city -- and the apartment.
