didn't have any breakfast, there was no direction as to whether anything was on offer. Staff were not friendly at all. opening times different on the website, tried to get a cold drink within opening times. staff said it was all closed.

It did what we needed it to. Easy enough to find, on our route. It was convenient at 8pm at night to check in, get something to eat & drink & then go to our room.

unable to access the property or get a reply from the owner at the time of arrival or after waiting around for 20 minutes, it would be appreciated if the owner sees fit to give me a refund which I feel would be the decent thing to do. My ratings are poor only because I was unable to stay there

This place is a gem. Your get almost half a house by the price of a room. Parking is private and secure.
Everything clean, tidy and well-organized. Big and comfy bathroom, shower is hot and strong. Hostess is responsive and delicate.
Location is a small and quiet village. We slept like a babies here.
Last but most important is a fabulous breakfast full of local products and home-made pastries and goodies. Every day something new and tasty. With a gorgeous garden view.
Good breakfast, Perfect location, easy to find, with reasonably safe parking, right at the back of the hotel and with direct access door, using the code provided at reception. I was happily surprised there was a nice small indoor swimming pool, with comfortable lounger seats, each with a towel, very appreciated after travelling on a very hot day. There was also a largish terrace and comfortable seats indoors. The unusual type of evening meal formula was fairly good value.
Great location for visiting delightful Argentan. Loved the meal "jars"/bocaux concept - very good enjoyable food within! The staff speak good English btw & are so attentive! Car parking right outside ground floor bedrooms so easy access with luggage etc. Great shower/wet room! However note to those with wheelchairs & other mobility aids, there is no elevator from ground floor bedrooms to access hotel facilities.
Located in a very pretty town with lots of facilities for visitors. The hotel was very good considering the price. It had a 'homely' feel and the staff were very friendly. The hotel had a very good restaurant and bar and the food and drink were inexpensive for what was on offer. It was nice to have a room that had no frills and and the bed was quite comfortable.
We didn’t have breakfast as I need gluten free food so we brought our own food in and ate it in our room which was fine.
The late checkout at 1100 was very much appreciated. Monday is apparently an evening when almost all Argentan restaurants are closed; fortunately there is a supermarket
The hotel was very easy to find and there was ample free parking.
The receptionist was very helpful and upgraded our room at no extra cost. Good location, clean room and shower with comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant next door.
