This place is a real gem, nice, clean, quiet. Host was friendly and helpful. Inside you have everything you need even for longer stays. Outside plenty of private parking, playground for kids, great green area. For us was perfect.
L'Ile de Sees is located a 30-minute drive north of Alençon and just 6 km from the centre of Sées. This 2-star hotel is set in a former dairy farm and now offers an on-site bar and restaurant.
Located in a very pretty town with lots of facilities for visitors. The hotel was very good considering the price. It had a 'homely' feel and the staff were very friendly. The hotel had a very good restaurant and bar and the food and drink were inexpensive for what was on offer. It was nice to have a room that had no frills and and the bed was quite comfortable.
Evening meal was delicious and good value. The hotel bar provided an added bonus.
Receptionist was great as she handled a small group of English people who had very little French.
The rooms were comfortable and we really enjoyed the choice at breakfast.
The hotel was very easy to find and there was ample free parking.
