Although prepared for the quirky decor, it was still a bit of a shock at first, but it grew on us after a while. The continental breakfast was really good. The pool was a welcome addition.

Very charming house in lovely surroundings. Nice views of the sunrise from the bedroom window. Kitchen was very good equipped and practical. Lovely and welcoming hostess. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow, the GPS found the hôtel easily. The parking area was spacious, and other residents friendly and of all nationalités. This hôtel was à real treasure situation in lovely Park Land. If you want to get away..and like calm..this is the place with lovely walks around.

The property is set in its own grounds in a rural area a little off the beaten track. The room was small but equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower over bath, wc and toiletries. The room was quiet and the optional breakfast provided everything you could need for the day ahead. Evening meal, again optional, was good food with ample choices and pretty good value for money. There is car parking on site in the grounds and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Actually I am writing about the town of Sees just down the road. Great little Saturday market and a church that was definitely worth looking at.
Parking in the town was a bit hit and miss as it was market day but it was well worth the effort.
A really nice place to break your journey if you happen to be staying over night on the Friday.
We didn't stop to eat as we needed to continue on our journey but we hugely enjoyed the brief time we spent there. A bit off the beaten track and all the better for it.
There was a wide choice for breakfast which was served in the bar area of the hotel. Items that had been finished were quickly replaced. Staff were attentive to customers' needs. The dinner was outstanding, extremely good value for money , featured few dishes but of fresh produce and beautifully cooked and presented. These comments go for both times I stayed there - on my way south and the return journey north.
A Hotel with Restaurant : so : Good food after arrival and shower.
There is also a bar with a terrace: so: relaxing there with a drink is perfectly possible.
The driveway to the hotel + the hotel itself : is a magnificent thing.
The food in the restaurant is of a delicious composition, I did Enjoy². And, at perfect prices for this.
Bathroom : Nice, Good shower.
Breakfast : Tasty, with good coffee.
The hotel is in a really quiet and picturesque location. The building has a lot of character and the grounds are really looked after.
The hotel is a little dated but its incredible value for money given the service, character and location. I was really surprised at how nice it was for the price and was a welcome change to the standard economy chain hotel.
Peaceful and quiet, this small hotel and its’ hardworking and very friendly staff ensured our short stay was relaxing and pleasant.
We had a stop-over there before driving further south, and were glad we chose this one.
The rooms are fine, and the food tasty - breakfast was good and the coffee excellent.

The hotel is in the country and is quiet with a pretty garden. The entrance hall, restaurant and breakfast room feel very French with exposed beams and pale decoration. The evening meal was superb, both the choice , the actual food and the service. Breakfast also had a good range to choose from.
Always a warm welcome at the I'le de Sees. The hotel is in a lovely location with private parking immediately outside the hotel. The rooms are basic but comfortable. In house dining means being able to relax on arrival, without needing to find somewhere else to eat
Charming french hotel in the quiet countryside. Friendly helpful staff and excellent food and good choice of wine all at a reasonable price. Only just over one hour's drive from Ouistreham ferry port.
Have always loved this hotel having visited many times through the years. The food was excellent, as ever, as was the breakfast provision. will always go back! The setting is idyllic too.
The hotel was very charming and the staff were all very welcoming, the food was great, evening meal was delicious & a very good selection for breakfast I highly recommend this venue.
