Both breakfast and dinner were excellent every day. With dinner there was an excellent choice of wines and drinks, including local beers, ciders, whisky and gin.
The chef is consistently good.

Lovely town location ok room staff were nice and friendly
Situated on Weymouth’s Esplanade, the family-run Alexandra Hotel is ideally located; with the town centre and Weymouth Harbour and the beach located across the road.

Dog friendly. Great location, just 10 mins walk to the beach and the local pubs! The property is modern, clean and has great facilities. Views of Lyme Bay at the front and sunshine in the rear garden. Unexpected welcome pack, which was appreciated.
The location was the only good point. You will still need a car to get about as the beach is a good 25-20 minute walk. Parking at the property is very awkward. We received a telling off from a neighbour. Only one space for one car and its very tight, & not ideal if you have a large car.
A perfect location for a walk to West Bay for lunch and the village has some really good pubs if you don't feel like cooking. We ate in both evenings, using the well stocked kitchen and found the house perfect for playing games and socialising.
Great location..... only a minute's walk from the beach. Caravan was 3 bedrooms & comfortable & spacious with everything you needed for self-catering. Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Facilities on site good too - swimming pool & Spa shop handy. There was also a fishn'chips van on site on Saturday night.
When we arrived there was milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge and crisps and marmalade on the table as a little welcome gift witch was great as I really fancied a cuppa when I got there 👌😄
Everything was cosy, warm, easy to get around and a lovely location to just go for a walk around the block.
The beds were comfy, the hot water was always hot and the kitchen was easy to cook and move around in.
Easy parking
Sarah was easy to contact if needed anything
We would like to thank owners & holiday company for sorting out quickly the fact the property wasn't cleaned ready for use by having the cleaners around first thing and offering us some compensation. the property is in a great location for walks and beach and has two good local pubs / restaurants.
