Fuji View Hotel, hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Fujikawaguchiko, Fuji View Hotel is a ryokan surrounded by views of the garden.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fuji View Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from my room—it was truly mesmerizing to wake up to such a stunning sight. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and serene walking paths, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The on-site onsen was a fantastic experience, offering both indoor and outdoor baths with views of Mount Fuji. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with traditional Japanese touches that added to the authentic experience. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the variety of amenities provided. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients. The dining area also offered lovely views, making every meal a pleasure. The location is perfect for exploring the Fuji Five Lakes area, and the hotel even offers a free shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station, which made getting around extremely convenient. Overall, Fuji View Hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable stay with unbeatable views of Mount Fuji. I can’t wait to return!

Keiseki dinner was an interesting experience but better if we had some guide/instruction on how to proceed with the meal. Enjoyed the onsen and wearing of yukata. Staff service was excellent. We had a last minute change of plans with an early bus to Tokyo and staff kindly drove us to Kawaguchiko Station as taxi was hard to come by at that time.

The hotel is amazing. We had a hot bath which was perfect after a day of walking. The staff were very professional and friendly. The traditional breakfast and dinner (which was included in our booking) were an amazing experience. They bring you a lot of food and we ended up so full 😄 they have public and private onsen. We tried the private onsen and we recommend people to try it :) the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake on the roof is amazing. The room came with the tatami floor and the room was huge. 100% recommend

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My boyfriend worked at 5-star hotels in the past and even he said the service at this hotel was impeccable. We were very lucky to see Mt Fuji from our room and the private onsen. We also loved the traditional Japanese room, the dinner and breakfast selection and being able to wear the yukata provided by the ryokan. Definitely the most authentic Japanese experience of our trip. We wish we had stayed longer than just one night. We will be back at this ryokan every time we visit Japan from now on.

Most comfortable futons we had in Japan, owner upgraded us to a larger room with a direct view of Mt Fuji for free since we were the only guests in the ryokan. Free hot drinks and the hottest onsen bath imaginable, really rejuvenating. Wonderful hospitality with free yukata loan, 360 views of the lake and mountain from the roof terrace, and the breakfast was delicious. Great facilities and good location.

Really beautiful location as the photos show. This is a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan), which means traditional-style rooms with sliding doors, tatami mats, and futon bedding; a (nude) bathhouse within the hotel facilities; and in our case, a full traditional dinner and breakfast. This is the iconic ryokan experience! I would certainly recommend Ururun Kawaguchiko to anyone else travelling to Japan, and if you can't make it here I would strongly recommend trying to find and stay in a ryokan somewhere else for at least one night.

Location right by the Yagizaki Parc, on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, but most important with an absolutely stunning view on the Mount Fuji. Hotel is designed like a Ryokan: rooms with Tatami mats, comfortable futons as beds, shared bathrooms with small Onsen, optional breakfast (changes by day between Japanese and western style).
