Beautiful, new build residence. Very low fuss and with stripped back breakfast. But we had complete privacy and a very tranquil setting and enough creature comforts to enjoy a film in the evening. The all-you-can-eat (and drink) buffets for breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I stayed four nights and I still didn’t get around to trying everything. The room was a very spacious 12-mat room with all the comforts I needed and a lovely view of the mountains. Incredible bargain for the money, especially when you include all the food. The onsen was very welcome, and I highly recommend using the fantastic rotemburo. It was only a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the train and bus station. It was very quiet there. I never had to wear earplugs to get to sleep like I do other places. Even though there were a lot of people there, everyone was respectful and the whole place had a nice relaxed feel to it. It makes a great base for exploring so much of the Izu Peninsula, and I can’t wait to go back again.
