We LOVED this huge seaside hotel-- especially the cave onsen. It's got some of that Japan bubble aesthetic, as it was opened in 1956 and updated throughout Japan's boom times. Our room had an incredible view of the sea, and it was fun to just roam around the hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a lovely stay I had here. I got drunk before dinner and then staggered into the most incredible feast I've ever had. This town lands a large amount of the tuna that comes into Japan, and they had such a variety and skill with it in the restaurant. Incredible sakē, great quality fish, good sized room.
