The room was clean, beds were very comfy, all the necessities were provided. Great breakfast starting from 7 am. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar. It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle. Fantastic location and the view of the Castle from our room was amazing. Really great room and facilities. The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride.
Everything about the hotel and the staff were incredible. Susan and Kevin were fabulous as they greeted us everyday and gave us everything we needed throughout our stay. The breakfast everyday was great and felt home with every meal. We will definitely be coming back here whenever we visit Edinburgh.

We got an upgrade to the castle deluxe room it was so nice of them as it was our anniversary the room was so nice and big and the bed was so comfortable everything about this hotel was luxury and relaxing. We both would definitely be back again . Thank you to the receptionist lady ( she was working Sunday 18th February in afternoon)didn’t get her name but she was so nice and friendly
Room was nice, spacious, clean, lovely views etc. Four poster bed made it feel luxurious and romantic. Pool and steam room were nice - not too busy, bright and relaxing. Staff were all very pleasant.
The staff were very helpful and easily contactable. I love how instead of getting your room cleaned they give you vouchers for a free drink instead. My wife and I went on our honeymoon at the malmaison, and the staff were every kind and gave us extra drinks and made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely go again and looking to plan our first anniversary at the malmaison. Thank you for the lovely stay!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they made our trip for our anniversary more memorable. There’s a refreshments stand with juice, water and snacks in reception, umbrellas to rent, complimentary pocessco on arrival, and a card, bottle of wine and chocolate in our room as an anniversary gift. The little things really did add up! The room was lovely and spacious with a nice view.

Delighted to receive an upgrade from the hotel. Celebrating my Ruby wedding anniversary it was much appreciated. Hotel was lovely and a great variety at breakfast buffet. The Junior Turret suite was truly luxurious and I would love to return one day. Excellent location close to Edinburgh airport and the city sights.
The location was perfect for Edinburgh because we could leave our car in the hotel car park and jump on the bus easily. So from hotel to central Edinburgh, we were 15 mins away at a reasonable price. The trip was a mini honeymoon, and we were so lucky to receive an upgrade on our room, much appreciated and thank you. 😊. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every day with a special on offer. Room was very clean and the hotel overall difficult to fault.
Great location, steam room, sauna and pool very clean and relaxing, lovely big room with a great view, complementary bottle of fizz for my boyfriend’s birthday a nice touch. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The Food was absolutely stunning, Staff very attentive but not overly. The Room had all luxury modcons Inc nespresso, white stuff toiletries, very comfy. Lovely relaxing lounge areas with big flamed fire. Very romantic place.
I booked the hotel over a year ago for my boyfriends 40th and requested a bottle of wine for us in the room. When we got to the hotel we were greeted by a lovely lady i think she was Maggie. She welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room exceed expectations it was beautiful . I couldn't believe we were upgraded to a four poster room, it was such a lovely surprise. The bottle of wine was complimentary and was fab and loved the sherry and shortbread. Awesome time and would come again, massive thank you.
