Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomWe were looked after extremely well by David, Anne and the rest of the team at the Hanoi Siva. As first time visitors to Vietnam, we were provided with lots of helpful advice and information, including maps, which was a godsend for us. David very helpfully contacted us ahead of our visit to ask if we would like them to arrange any trips for us, which they did. They had our laundry cleaned and dried when we asked, ahead of our next stop, for a small extra charge and also arranged our airport transfers. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they even provided us with breakfast boxes on our departure day as it was very early. The room itself was very clean, neat, with a huge comfortable bed, nice bedding, a good sized bath with shower, kettle, every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided. The breakfast selection was varied and good quality (I especially liked the chicken noodle soup and the small squares of cake they provided which I am not sure of the name). We will have no hesitation returning to the Siva, and will wholeheartedly recommend it for your stay in Hanoi. It is walking distance to many main attractions including train street. David and his team are excellent hosts who will make you feel welcome and at home.

Large, clean room in a very central location in the Old Quarter. The stand out here are the staff - the receptionist who greeted us and the manager (didn't get their names, wish we had!) were amazing. Great English and extremely helpful, went out of their way to let us check in early and arranged a last-minute trip for us. The receptionist also gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Great breakfast.
