Difficult to keep bathroom floor dry whilst in shower. No big deal really but felt bad about using towels to mop everything up.

My rooms were situation in a way I could often hear dishes clanking early. The shower seemed to always find a way to get a lot of water on the floor due to the design.

The TV system needs an upgrade to ALL new Smart TV's with internet access, the rooms are adequate, but will soon need an update too. Elevator is only 1, which is sufficient, but rather slow. Limited parking for motorcycles in front, but then again this is Hanoi and the Old Quarter

This hotel is in a wonderful location, brilliantly located on the edge of the Old Quarter and walking distance to everything. The staff make the hotel, always smiling and helping out on ever aspect of your stay. The Staff were a rating of 5. The rooms are good, we had the pleasure of staying in both the smaller room and the room with balcony. Both rooms were adequate, although a few extra pillows would have been nice. The downstairs breakfast area is a treat, the head chef comes out each morning and converses with the guest and ask what kind of eggs you want, he is very kind and goes out of this way to make everyone feel comfortable.

The hotel was in disrepair in some respects. My first room had a loose aluminum siding just outside the window, which made noise.

The staff were extremely friendly and, generally, the place had a good vibe. I think the management cares about staff and tries to keep them happy. I had some problems with my room, and the hotel upgraded me for free, which was quite nice (I would have been happy with a different, equivalent-level room). This is a very friendly budget option for travelers to Hanoi.
