Location was just what I wanted. On the sand with surf. Great patio for lounging when you didn’t want to be on the sand. Loads of equipment to borrow if you did want to be on the sand.

The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable to me but my wife loved it.

From the moment we checked in the staff was simply amazing (front desk to housekeeping). The location is phenomenal.

Noise pollution from other visitors. Floors/walls seem really thin and the shutters do not shut all the way/no curtains so no way to close out all external light. We could hear everything going on around us and were woken up prematurely.

Wonderful location, modern, renovated rooms with lovely aesthetic.

Super cute hotel on the beach -- perfect for our baby moon! Staff was exceptional and the beds/rooms were super comfy. Loved that they provided beach chairs/umbrellas when we asked. Walking distance from everything in Del Mar & convenient drive from San Diego or Encinitas. Really loved our stay.

No shower door on the shower? Water goes on the floor-not good. Needs microwave eventually in each room. Phones are cheap. Throw them away. Batteries had to be changed out of the bathroom door and we got locked out of our room day 1 so batteries had to be changed there as well.

Beach, no parking fees!!!! 2 owned restaurants for convenience. Complimentary Coffee-the best. Very hospitable front guest personnel. The whole crew was great and friendly.

Well-kept property in a great location. Everyone on the staff was professional, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is as-advertised(which is a good thing). Plenty of good restaurants all within 5 minute walk. The provided Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and boogie boards made for great days on the beach.

Staff are wonderful , rooms and patio are newly renovated. Hotel right on beach . Hotel provides umbrella , beach chairs , beach towels and boogie boards . Bed is super comfortable , rooms very clean.

The parking was the only downside. The lot filled up and sometimes you had to park on the street. It was fine just a little inconvenient at times.

We were upgraded to a king with a view. I liked that they offered you a glass of wine or cup of coffee on arrival. The room was nicely appointed and the location on the beach was amazing.

It’s difficult to find a hotel right in the beach in SoCal like this, especially one you can also walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Additionally, they have beach chairs, umbrellas, even boogie and surf boards free for guest use, plus a patio that overlooks the beach with plenty of comfortable seating when you want to enjoy being at the beach without getting sandy!
