It’s on the expensive side - we were charged a lot for 1 night in the comfort room with breakfast at 28 per head. Perhaps have music playing to help create more atmosphere in public areas.

Newly refurbished and very tasteful. The bedrooms were lovely as was the pool area. A relaxing place with an excellent bar manager - Jerry , who really made the bar area work well. Friendly too.

The restaurant offers a four-course meal ( starter, fish course, main course, and dessert) costing 95€ with no choice of dishes. The "Maitre D" basically tells you which dishes from the A La Carte menu will comprise the 4-course menu. My wife chose to eat a la carte and I took the 4-course option. The size of the portions on the fixed 4-course menu were less than half the size of the equivalent a la carte portions for the same dish which was very disappointing. Especially disappointing was the fact that the menu does not offer a 3-course fixed menu, as I normally do not eat a fish course and a main course. At 95 euros the 4-course menu is expensive and certainly not good value for money.

We had a slight confusion about where to wait for our table at dinner, but nothing significant.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious. The swimming pool/spa complex is not huge but very nice. We liked the hexagonal swimming pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered an event "menu a quatre mains" - where the resident chef teams up with a visiting chef - which was inventive and delicious. We particularly liked that the chefs came out to chat to the customers. They were very approachable and seemed pleased that we were pleased.

Only two things needed ~ an iron & ironing board in the room.!

The rooms were amazing.! Delightful French doors opened to patio. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of room & beautiful decor. The staff, especially Kingsley went above & beyond to make my stay & my friends birthdays magical - big cheers & thanks to Kingsley.!

We actually did like everything.

It’s a beautiful property. The restaurant serves excellent degustation menu with wine pairing (all champagne, of course). We are particularly thankful for the fact that they managed to serve us in under 2 hours, exactly as we asked for. Longer would be too much for our 2 little kids.

1. The 5 star restaurant sommelier was useless. We told him what we were eating and what he would recommend for drinking and he turned the question on us” do you like red, white or rose’?” : he looked pissed off and was very unprofessional. 2. We were having dinner with a small kid and we sat at 7pm and we needed the dinner at 10pm, very very very slow for a family with a kid. 3. The five star restaurant food was good but not for 5 star especially the terrine de food gras or similar.
