Coming by car it would have been very helpful to know that we should go directly to the garage (given the address). Now we circulated the block 3 times as hotel entrance is on a pedestrian street. Elevator was not in mint condition - stopped between floors.

THE HOTEL HAS MUCH CHARACTER, BUT REQUIRES SOME UPDATING!

BREAKFAST WAS VARIED AND GOOD. LOCATION OF HOTEL IS EXCELLENT AND MOST PLACES OF INTEREST CAN BE EASILY REACED ON FOOT!

Hotel needs some large refurbishment.

Perfect location, very kind staff, perfect view over city from 6th floor room, good value for money, old, rustic style, probably not refurbished since the hotel was open few decades ago.

There was no water in the rooms and on the floor, would be good to add some option definitely.

THe Hotel is located very conveniently, all the historical attractions of the old town and city center are very close. The rooms are big and clean and has the spirit of Jugoslavia times, though in a good way :)

Facilities need a touch up here and there. It’s a little rough around the edges but could use some investment/finishing off.

We found that my debit card was charged much more than the price I booked. We did not use different paid services such as parking etc. But despite this, they charged too much. Breakfast and cleaning were nice.

Could do with a little bit of TLC. Could not get the hairdryer to work and the shower did not produce very warm water. But the receptionist on duty could not have been more helpful when I rang to tell them about noise which appeared to be coming from the plumbing and found me another room which was quieter.

Very beautiful, old fashioned hotel. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Great restaurant with an excellent choice of breakfast items. Located in the old part of town with plenty of restaurants and bars. Convenient for museums and the Belgrade Waterfront. The staff are a credit to the hotel deserve recognition for their hard work. The Palace is over 100 years old and is in an interesting historical location.

An old fashioned hotel full of magic and history . It is perfectly located in the very vibrant part of the old Belgrade city center . There is patina of bygone era that set this venue apart from the swankier hotels in its vicinity. But that very same patina gives hotel Palace its unique charm. The staff is very friendly and WiFi excellent.

Location was excellent. So staff were helpful, even though we were very late checking in after a delayed flight. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of the hotel. Room was spacious. Would stay again.

Feels dusty, abandoned, and desperately needing an update...

Location is great but the hotel needs to be brought to 21st century. They are still in Tito's times, except with no money... The young staff are great but it is obvious that the old guard ghosts are in charge - feels like they are still awaiting that foreign spy who destroyed Yugoslavia so that they may catch her...

Very welcoming and helpful personnel, even though I arrived past the check-in time (due to a flight delay) and had to start breakfast slightly before time (as I had to leave very early).

Some staff were not friendly. The man that checked us in was rude and unhelpful. The first room we had was not well maintained. The breakfast wasn’t the best for a vegetarian and an absolute no go for a vegan. First floor room was noisy from the bar outside but just needed some earplugs.

It is like stepping back in time when you enter this hotel. It is old, quirky and full of character. Room was comfortable. Location excellent. Our room was changed due to shower being broken and the second room was much nicer than the first. It had been decorated and was better maintained.

The hotel was for smokers (I don't smoke), but I knew that before I booked so is not a problem about the hotel but just my personal preference. Though there in Belgrad, it seems is rare to find even restaurants for non-smokers (even in closed restaurants).

The location was perfect, historic center was super close, at walking distance. Bars and restaurants also were in the area. Breakfast was not pretty good and I see a fly walking on the cheese and another one in the salad. The place was not bad, I think it was just my bad look to see that :P
