  • Le Terrazze di Cancellara Review score: 9

“Le Terrazze Di Cancellara is situated in olive groves high above the Umbrian hills, the panoramic views are truly spectacular. The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped with lovely terraces. The pool is refreshing after a day of sightseeing and has lots of sun loungers. The staff are amazing, Romina is a fantastic cook and a genuinely warm person and together with the lovely Anna, they will look after you and make you feel like this is your second home. It is in an ideal location to visit Assisi, Spello ,Perugia and lots of other beautiful medieval villages.”

  • City Center Casa Grimana Review score: 9

“Proximity to old town, easy to get to from the station, well equipped except for lack of a kettle and a drying rack for clothes.”

  • Cerqua Rosara Residence Review score: 10

“Everything is lovely and Gianni is the most welcoming and attentive host you could wish for. He has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable. He even brought us fresh eggs from his hens! The setting of Cerqua Rosara is truly beautiful. The pool is top class.”

  • “Our stay at Fontanaro Agro Tourism Hotel was an absolute dream—a place that stole our hearts, and we’re already counting the days until we return. It was, without question, the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the owner welcomed us like family, inviting us to an unforgettable aperitivo as the sun dipped behind the rolling hills of Umbria. The setting, nestled beside a working olive grove, was pure magic. We were gifted a bottle of their exceptional organic olive oil, and the tour of the olive oil production process felt like stepping back in time. The kitchen was stocked with every authentic ingredient we needed to create our own Italian feasts, making it feel as if we were living the dream of a true Italian countryside retreat. The views were nothing short of breathtaking—from every window, terrace, and especially from the serene pool, which overlooked endless horizons. The owner’s impeccable recommendations for nearby villages and incredible local restaurants ensured that every day was a new adventure, all made effortless by her constant support through WhatsApp. Fontanaro is not just a stay; it’s an experience—a sanctuary of Italian elegance, tradition, and beauty. It’s a place where the heart of Italy comes alive, where every moment feels like a gift, and we can’t wait to return to its embrace.”

  • “Hosts are really nice and warm-hearted. They look like loving their job and guests. And the scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Dinner which is made by local ingredients was awesome. I and my husband fall in love the pasta including fish, and the ribeye steak :) Breakfast including handmade salami was so good. I recommend this agriturismo to make your journey perfect!”

  • Ca' Matra Review score: 10

“It was absolutely stunning place to be. Morena and her husband and all the other staff were super friendly, and nothing was a trouble for them. Thank you for our wonderful stay!”

  • Morami Wine Agriturismo Review score: 9

“Beautiful setting in vineyard in countryside. Fabulous breakfast.⁹”

  • La Ghirlanda Wine Resort Review score: 7

“We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September and booked a double room. The house is very well maintained and everything is in an old English style. The room was spacious and clean. The pool is in a great location below the house with a view of the hilly landscape. The pool is 6*6m in size and is not heated, so the water was very fresh. The breakfast was very plentiful, very varied, with lots of fresh products. For dinner we always ate in the surrounding restaurants, as we didn't appreciated the menu on both evenings. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and helpful and speak good English.. It is very quiet in the hotel and there is not much to do in the immediate area. Montefalco is about 25 minutes away. A car is a must have. Thank you for your hospitality 👍”

  • Residenza Perusia Review score: 10

“Amazing views out of the bedroom windows! The apartment was lovely, very clean and well equipped, quiet at night but still only a very short walk into the centre of Perugia. The host kept in touch via WhatsApp and provided a really helpful video showing the route from the station, via the mini metro, to the apartment. They even arranged for us to drop off bags early with the cleaner, very helpful. All in all we would highly recommend Residenza and would happily return. The only thing I’d mention is that it’s up three flights of stairs with no lift, not a problem for us but worth pointing out.”
