Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Very spacious with great facilities for self catering. Close to the main piazza, and the mini metro for travel to the train station. Loved having access to Netflix as TV in previous venues only offered Italian channels.

United KingdomWe seldomly used the AC as it was rather noisy particularly at night. Given Perugia is a windy city it was easier to open a few windows and get a refreshingly cool breeze. So we slept well. For older people like us the stairs up and then down to the apartment can be a challenge.
The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Perugia but extremely quiet. It is a very modern minimalist design two beds two bathroom apartment but exactly as shown on the promotional photographs. The apartment was immaculately clean with very comfortable beds and the bonus of first class showers.

United StatesEverything was absolutely perfect.
These apartments (we had two for family, 3 in one and 2 in the other) was absolutely amazing. Accessed by the wide and long Piazza della Repubblica at the top of the city, you must leave your taxi at the top and walk down into the Piazza and look to your left where the ancient building has a prominent number 71 on it. The upstairs deep interior has been transformed into an absolutely modern impeccably clean and truly impressive series of apartments fully equipped, of which the property has several. When I say fully equipped, I mean it: Gas stove, professional coffee service, huge beds, elegant bathrooms with plenty of hot water, and very large personal space, the greatest we found in out whole trip. We never met the manager/owner but a maid was on hand to admit us. The doors are managed by codes. We had planned 2 nights and were travelling by train. When it became clear some months earlier that we could not reach Perugia before that evening of our arrival in Rome, the management graciously allowed us to cancel the first night, so we stayed briefly in Rome and arrived early in Perugia the next morning. Our departure was scheduled the next morning at 7 am after a full day in Perugia allowed us to satisfy our plans for the visit. The only safe and certain way to the station was a taxi for 5 down the mountain at 5 am. Our efforts to schedule such a taxi were frustrated by the language difference but the manager/owner was easily able to arrange what we needed. The taxi met us in the dark at the top of the Piazza and easily got us to the train station on time.

Wonderful property, wonderful host! Nicola was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. I had questions about the A/C and he responded immediately. The place has a washer which was a nice benefit. Beds are comfortable and the location in Perugia could not be any better.

United StatesThe property, the host, location is amazing. You can’t be more central than what Nima offers, but at the same time it is located in a part of the building that overlooks the hills. They were very accommodating with our request and always available to answer our questions. Self checkin is well explained and we didn’t have any problems locating the suite.

United StatesEverything was perfect!
Wonderful, large, modern apartment with everything you need for a short or extended stay! Located in the heart of the city center but also very quiet due to being on the backside of the building. Amazing views and breezes through the many large windows. It was cool and quiet enough that we could leave the windows open all night. Very comfortable bed with large bathrooms. Laundry in unit. Large and well-appointed kitchen as well. Host was very responsive, showed us how everything worked, and was extremely nice. He recommended a coffee shop (Sandry) and a restaurant (La Taverna) and both were some of the best we had for our whole trip. We would happily stay here again!

United StatesIf you have a lot of luggage (which we did), the staircases up and then down inside the building are a bit of a challenge. There are several dark hallways where you have to figure out where the light switches are or use your cell phone flashlight. After you are settled, it’s not an issue.
Absolutely gorgeous, new, shiny and huge apartment with great facilities (washer, dishwasher, full sized fridge, etc.) Big comfortable beds Perfect location inside the old town but close to parking in Piazza Italia Super nice host who let us check out a bit after hours and leave bags early at check in

United StatesBe aware that once in the building there are 20 steps up, down a corridor and then 20 steps down to reach NIMA Boutique House. We were prepared, based on other reviews, and managed easily by helping each other with our luggage. It is not anything that prevents us from recommending NIMA Boutique House and it should not deter others from considering staying in one of the apartments.
We immediately felt at home in NIMA Boutique House for our 12 day stay. It is quite spacious with modern facilities, not expected in such an old building. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. Nicely appointed bathrooms were a big plus (we stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite). Nicola left us coffee to get us going on our first mornings. The location is absolutely perfect. It is an easy approach from the train station (more on that later). The apartment is located in the center of the old city, in the Piazza della Republica, surrounded by stores, bars and restaurants, plus several art galleries -- not far from Piazza IV Novembre. There are several small food stores within a very short walk (Pam Local and Coop). We took advantage of having a kitchen by visiting the food stores and the farmer's market, which is on ever Wednesday in the Piazza Giacomo Matteo. If you in Perugia on a Friday, be sure to check out the farmer's market at the end of the Minimetro, in the parking lot of Pian di Massiano. (There is also a large modern supermarket right across of there.) To get to the NIMA Boutique Hotel from the train station is pretty simple. Stay on platform 1 and get a ticket from the Minimetro kiosk (1.50 euro each). Head towards Pincetto. When you exit -- if you have luggage head to the right and take the elevator to the top. If you feel particularly strong, head left and take the escalator. Once you emerge onto the street head to your right on Via Oberdan (great little pizza place as you emerge onto the street -- check it out). You will emerge into Piazza Giacomo Matteo. Cross over Via Baglioni and go straight onto Via Nicola Danzetta. You will come onto the Piazza della Republica -- the entrance us diagonal across the Piazza. Nicola was a great host. He was very responsive to our questions. An added plus was that we had cleaning service due to our extended stay.

United StatesThis is not a place for anyone with mobility challenges. First, there are three small flights of stairs up and then another flight down in a small circular stairway to get to the rooms. These are not full floor length flights but they are significant for those with mobility challenges. There are no elevators. For family members who couldn't lift their suitcases or navigate stairs well or do both at the same time, this was a challenging place to stay. They were lucky to have family members to assist. It's a long walk from the front door to the apartment suite doors. No one is meeting you to help with luggage like some other places we have stayed. Had we known this more upfront, I don't think we would have selected this location so we want to share this clearly with other travelers. Second, certain types of cars are not allowed to drop you off in front of the apartment. The driver of our van encountered significant difficulties even with GPS guidance so had to drop us off at a nearby piazza. Ignore the GPS directions as it can get your van trapped in the narrow roads and walk from Piazza Italia. This is a great place for those who are completely able-bodied and savvy with technology. I do not recommend this place for family members or friends who need a little more assistance. For example, there is no guidebook or handbook on how to operate things. You get a few texts but no detailed instructions on how to operate equipment, heater, electronics, or handle recycling. They need to be able to manage multiple pass codes, be more independent, and carry their luggage up multiple stairwells. There are little details about this place that makes it feel like a corporate-run place: they don't give you handsoap but want the shower gel to do double-duty; there aren't adequate Kleenex tissues. It didn't bother me but it did get noticed by others in my traveling party. We have stayed in apartments like this all over the world and it just felt a little...
We stayed in Nima Suite 1 and other members of my family stayed in Nima Suite 2. The location on the square was convenient to shopping and sights. There are local grocery stores and even a farmers' market less than 5 minutes away. The living space is large and modern in both suites. Suite 1 had 2 bedrooms and Suite 2 had 1 bedroom. There are adequate plates and cups, along with soap and tea. The cutlery was difficult to find in Nima Suite 2 even with photos and texts exchanged. My other family members actually never ended up finding the drawer within the drawer with the cutlery and ended up borrowing ours. The towels were soft and the bathrooms were clean. They were kind enough to leave chocolates and water in the fridge, which we appreciated. Perugia overall is a lovely city with deep history and delicious cuisine. The location is a great place to explore many offerings that Umbria has to offer.
