“The three onsens were great, so fun just having a quick spa whenever you felt like it day or night!
Very flexible with food preferences/dietary requirements they are able to cater to anyone
Yudanaka town was pretty quiet in spring, not much going on but very relaxing nonetheless
The rooms were very clean and so spacious
The scenery around this part of Japan is way more beautiful than I had expected

“Had a wonderful stay at this Ryokan.
Arrived drenched after snow monkeys in the rain, felt like arriving at grandmas…. Shoes were taken away and dried in time for using to go to dinner, raincoats taken and hung up to dry - returned next morning folded, heated air fan in room to dry clothing - all without asking. Driven to station on checkout. 💕

“Loved the traditional feel of the place. The in house hot pools were perfect after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast had many options and was buffet style. The room was large for Japan and spacious, with a separate toilet and bathroom.”

“Alkira and Yumi were wonderful hosts with nothing too much trouble. The room was fabulous. Comfy futons and all facilities. Immaculately clean. The onsen baths were amazing. We had dinner and breakfast which were magnificent, served in an elegant dinning room. Yumi is a marvellous chef. Alkira drove us to the Snow Monkeys Park and to the station the next morning. We only stayed 1 night. Wish we'd stayed longer. We will be back”
“The hotel had a great view. Staff were very helpful. There is a free Shuttle service, Yudanaka Station pickup and drop off. Also, they will take you to the Snow Monkeys and pickup too. We had a breakfast and dinner package (Japanese style) with lots of fish dishes. Not a huge fan of fish!”
