“Barton Hall ❤️ is absolutely stunningly beautiful.. It's steeped in history & the wonderful furniture & designs take your breath away...its like stepping back in time..The rooms are extremely spacious & clean & so comfortable.. The views are outstanding from the house & they are all super dog friendly. My sister Gail & I took 2 of our dogs..Fozzie & Willow 🐕🐕..They had a blast It's only 3 minutes drive from the beautiful Pooley bridge..where there are plenty eating places..all dog friendly ❤️..& endless walks along Ulswater which is stunning..there is a tea place there Granny's where the cakes are divine The owner Ailsa ❤️ is wonderfully kind & caring & attentive to your every whim with her great staff the manager Jacky ❤️ who is superb 👏 Ailsa cooks breaky which is delightful 😋..you can take your dogs with you to breaky.. You have also full access to the kitchen amenities to cook your own snack or meal..With every utensil & pan etc needed.. We will 100 % be back to this beautiful place..as such a homely experience ❤️”

“Pretty much everything 😃. Staff were friendly,very attentive. Rooms were very tidy and well equipped, bed was comfy bathroom was big and disabled friendly. Breakfast was great! A decent British pub is hard to find these days so this is a real gem. We liked it so much we have cancelled our booking elsewhere to stay here again.”
