“Location, facilities and staff were all excellent”

  • Hipotels La Geria Review score: 9

“Beautiful gardens with mature trees and cacti, lovely pool. Restaurant and bar were nicely laid out. Good selection at breakfast and dinner buffets. Housekeeping was amazing - bedroom was cleaned to absolute perfection each day. Beds were very comfy. A particular highlight were the activities hosted by Santos. He was engaging, fun and warm and made participants feel relaxed with each other. We had never attempted activities on holiday before but he made the stay very special for us! All of the staff we encountered – at reception, restaurant and bar were very pleasant and polite.”

  • Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa Review score: 8

    “Nice view.”

  • “The hotel is very well maintained and cleaned daily, with towels replaced every two days as advertised. Great location - my request for a top-floor room was granted, and I even got a sea view! It’s in an amazing spot, just a 2-minute walk from a massive beach. We arrived around 11 a.m., and although check-in starts at 2 p.m., our room was already ready-so no awkward waiting in the lobby. There are plenty of sunbeds, although they’re quite close to each other. Some guests still reserve them by throwing towels on, unfortunately, but there are more than enough for everyone. There are also additional sunbeds outside the pool area, though these don’t have any sun cover or parasols. This is a small hotel - daily entertainment is available. It wasn’t amazing, but it’s great for more extroverted people. :) As for the food - relatively good variety, with 40–50% of the options suitable for vegetarians. Not as much for plant-based diets, although oven-roasted vegetables, fries, potatoes, bread, jams, etc. are available daily, so everyone can find something. Not sure why some guests mentioned that food wasn’t topped up - maybe if you arrive 10 minutes before the end of the meal? Otherwise, it was topped up regularly. The staff are great and very helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall, a highly recommended stay. I wouldn’t suggest going for all-inclusive though - get half-board and enjoy your drinks and cocktails at the many bars just a short walk away. Pro-tip: Looking for lively bars and nightlife? Head right when walking towards the beach - a 20-minute walk takes you to a large strip of restaurants and bars. Prefer to relax? Head left instead - there are still bars and restaurants, but with a much more mellow, laid-back vibe.”
