A little short on sunbeds. People were asked not to leave towels on beds but still did.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Really good ambience. Lovely, modern rooms. Breakfast was amazing.

The really negative was the walk from the airport to taxi. We had to walk uphill to terminal 2.My husband has COPD and it was very difficult. Had we realised the length, we would have made alternative arrangements. Also, a general relaxing area as well as the lobby, particularly if raining would add to the general comfort. Having said that, the experience on the w. hole, was very pleasurable. Many thanks to all.

Unfortunately the location wasn’t great for us as it was at the top of a series of hills. We found the hotel quite expensive. We had booked a suite with poolside view however on arrival we were given a room on upper level with sea view. When I took this up with reception I was told we had been given an upgrade. It didn’t feel like an upgrade to us as we had only a little terrace with 2 chairs & table up a flight of stairs instead of 2 sun loungers, 2 chairs & table on pool level. It was agreed we could have the room we booked but not until the next day. Felt like this delayed the start of our holiday.

All staff were always very pleasant. The breakfast each morning was excellent. The room was spacious & comfortable. A light curtain on patio doors would be a good idea to provide some privacy.

The sauna and jacuzzi could only be used if you had a spa booking and it was expensive

This is such a lovely hotel and the staff are simply exceptional. It was the little touches which we so appreciated - a glass of Cava on arrival, a complimentary bottle in our room and as we had an early flight and would miss breakfast, a cold breakfast was provided for us. The rooms and all the facilities are also beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay in PDC.

This was our third stay in the past 8 years and I just felt the rooms are getting ‘tired’ - scuff marks on walls and furniture- investment needed to maintain the 5 star status.

The staff make this hotel exemplary- one person nicer than the next. Welcome was warm, hotel room changed for better view with no fuss. Pool area very well maintained. Breakfast is delicious. Bar area very welcoming.

Beds weren't overly comfortable, but perhaps that's because nothing will beat my bed at home!

Every staff member was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The glass of champagne and bottle in the room was a vwey nice touch! Location is perfect!

The hotel itself is excellent. We were dissatisfied with the beds they were hard and uncomfortable, two single beds pushed together not a bed you would expect in a five star hotel. Also tvs not smart and no apps available. But all in all a beautiful hotel. Needs beds sorted it takes away from the hotel.

Hotel was beautiful, Staff were friendly and professional. Food was great. Pool and pool bar was nice. We enjoyed a lovey breakfast each day. Located higher up in the old town it’s a steep walk up but in fairness it so close to the fab restaurants and port.

Hot water supply in our room (604) very low pressure. Insufficient for the rain shower to work.

Excellent modern design, very relaxing and comfortable. Staff all friendly and professional. Genuine 5* quality. Breakfast and evening meal food was outstanding.
