“We loved our one night stay here, it was the perfect location for us visiting a Uros Family on the reed islands, we arrived late in the evening, in a storm and both exhausted after a long day of travel from Colca Canyon, the door man took our bags immediately and once checked in he took them all up to our room, which was so helpful. We were invited for a welcome drink at the bar which was a lovely touch and very welcomed, 2 pisco sours made for us perfect! We sat by the lovely lit fire , very cosy and then decided to have our late evening meal there, which was also good. Our room was so cosy, very clean, warm and comfortable beds with nice fresh smelling sheets. A kettle in the room with tea bags was also welcomed in the morning as we skipped breakfast us being so tired. The staff even called our room after breakfast time to see if we still wanted any, but we had to leave for the Uros Islands, the hotel let us leave our big bags there for the two days we were away, so we could walk the 10 mins to the port very easily, then on return to collect our bags, they kindly called us a taxi to get back into Puno centre! The best hotel so far on our big trip around Peru! All very friendly, pleasant staff and a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend especially if you are going to the port to stay with a Uros Family.”
“It was so nice to have a hot bath, clean, comfortable and warm room we actually moved here after spending a night at another hotel that was supposed to have a bath which was the main reason of our booking having been on the reed islands for a few days. Really wish we'd stayed the 2 nights here as this was much more up there at almost the same cost and it was right on the plaza, fiestas happening all that day around there but it was quiet at night. They even let us check in early 10am as our room was ready waiting for us which was a bonus, we had an early start to catch a 6am bus the next day and the nice girl on reception offered to order us a pack lunch which was perfect, they also booked us a taxi to take us to the bus depot. There is help yourself free coco tea in the reception and the staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a great spot for visiting Puno or just a sleep over for your next stop.”
“Such an incredible location, with wonderful hosts Yonatan and Lucy who wish for your stay with them to be the best. It’s an authentic stay on Lake Titicaca without the tourism hype that some other floating reed islands may present. The accommodation is like ‘glamping’ ,is comfortable and is very warm. Water pressure is wanting but understandable given the location. Prepare to be cool in the shade (a puffer jacket wouldn’t go astray), and warm in the sun. The gazebo bed is superb. And the food is wholesome and delicious. Many thanks to Yonatan for organising transport from bus station on arrival to port where he was waiting with his boat, and then for the return which was very early in the morning to catch the train to Cusco.”
“Breakfast at the 10th floor with great view over Titicaca is something unforgettable. Nice room, nice and comfortable bathroom. Location at the heart of Puno. Great hotel:)”
