“Ryokan Fuji Heights was wonderful! The owner is so sweet and was able to pick me up from the train station for no extra fee. He gave me a full tour when I arrived and explained everything. It's walkable to the train station though a bit far with bags and stuff. Also very easy to walk down to the water and around town from there.
The room itself was beautiful and very large for just me. One of my favorite places I stayed while I was in Japan. Waking up to the sound of pouring rain outside from the comfort of my cozy bed the day after a hike was perfect. I also really appreciated the giant bathtub after my hike.”
